Anti-adherent Compositions and Methods of Inhibiting the Adherence of Microbes to a Surface
Methods of inhibiting microbes from attaching to a surface and anti-adherent compositions are disclosed. One method can include providing an anti-adherent composition that includes an anti-adherent agent configured to inhibit microbes from attaching to the surface. The anti-adherent agent can be: Acrylates Copolymer, Trimethylpentanediol/Adipic Acid/Glycerin crosspolymer, Trimethylpentanediol/Adipic Acid Copolymer, Ethylhexyl Stearate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Acrylates/C12-22 Alkylmethacrylate Copolymer, Octocrylene, Ethylene Oxide/Propylene Oxide Block Copolymer, Polyquaternium-101, or any combinations thereof. The method can include applying the composition to the surface and allowing at least some of the composition to remain on the surface such that the anti-adherent agent inhibits microbes from attaching to the surface. The anti-adherent composition can include a humectant and can be non-antimicrobial.

DETERGENT BOOSTERS, DETERGENT SYSTEMS THAT INCLUDE A DETERGENT BOOSTER, AND METHODS OF LAUNDERING FABRIC
Detergent boosters, detergent systems that include a detergent booster, and methods of laundering fabric are provided herein. In an embodiment, a detergent booster includes a nonionic soil release polymer and, optionally, one or more surfactants with a total amount of surfactant present in an amount of up to 4 weight % based upon a total weight of the detergent booster. The nonionic soil release polymer includes a backbone having ester linkages.
LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS
A liquid laundry composition comprising: (i) one or more anionic surfactants; and (ii) a non-ionic ethoxylated C.sub.10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant with a degree of ethoxylation in the range of 1 to 10; wherein the total amount of anionic surfactant in the composition is in the range of 15 to 25 wt % of the total composition and the weight ratio of the total amount of anionic surfactant to the non-ionic ethoxylated C.sub.10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant is in the range of 6:1 to 100:1. Use of a liquid laundry detergent composition including a non-ionic ethoxylated C.sub.10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant with a degree of ethoxylation in the range of 1 to 10 for laundering textiles wherein increased foam is provided during a main wash step when compared to a composition having a comparable level of anionic surfactant and substantially no non-ionic ethoxylated C.sub.10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant with a degree of ethoxylation in the range of 1 to 10.
LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS
A liquid laundry composition comprising: (i) one or more anionic surfactants; and (ii) a non-ionic ethoxylated C10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant with a degree of ethoxylation in the range of 1 to 10; wherein the total amount of anionic surfactant in the composition is in the range of 3 to 18 wt % of the total composition and the weight ratio of the total amount of anionic surfactant to the non-ionic ethoxylated C10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant is in the range of 6:1 to 60:1. Use of a liquid laundry detergent composition including said non-ionic ethoxylated C10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant for laundering textiles wherein effective foam is maintained during a main wash step and an easy rinse of the textiles is provided during a rinse step.
LAUNDRY LIQUID COMPOSITION
A laundry liquid composition, comprising an anionic soil release polymer and a surfactant wherein the anionic soil release polymer comprises a fabric-binding region capped by one or more hydrophilic regions, wherein the fabric-binding region includes one or more anionic substituents and at least one end block/cap based on polyethylene glycol and/or polypropylene glycol, with a lower alkyl or hydrogen termination, and wherein the anionic soil release polymer may be a compound having formula (I) or, more preferably, formula (.sup.II) where each Y is independently selected from y.sup.A1, Y.sup.A2, Y.sup.N1 and Y.sup.N2wherein: y.sup.A1 is a 1,4-phenylene moiety having one or more (e.g. 1, 2, 3 or 4) anionic substituents (such as carboxylate, phosphonate, phosphate or, preferably sulphonate); Y.sup.A2 is a 1,3-phenylene moiety having one or more (e.g. 1, 2, 3 or 4) anionic substituents (such as carboxylate, phosphonate, phosphate or, preferably sulphonate); Y.sup.N1 is an anionic-substituent free (e.g. unsubstituted) 1,4-phenylene moiety; and Y.sup.N2 is an anionic-substituent free (e.g. unsubstituted) 1,3-phenylene moiety; E is an end-cap, A is C.sub.1-6alkyl (preferably ethylene substituted with C.sub.1-4 alkyl substituents); M is a suitable counterion; and x>0; with the proviso that at least one Y group is y.sup.A1 or Y.sup.A2 and wherein the end cap E comprises polyethylene glycol and/or polypropylene glycol units, with a C1-C6 alkyl or hydrogen termination.

CONCENTRATED LIQUID DETERGENTS CONTAINING POLYMERS
Highly concentrated liquid detergents with a surfactant content of 30 wt. % and more, also containing polymers in concentrations of 2 wt. % or more and displaying optimised product stability. The detergent having a specifically adapted surfactant system containing alkyl ether alkoxylates, alkyl(poly)gylcosides and additional surfactants. The invention also relates to methods for washing textiles using the described detergents and to the use thereof.
