Therapeutic cushioning pants
The therapeutic pants include at least one cushion that orients the user's leg(s), hip(s), or lower back in a particular alignment. For example, the cushion may be positioned between the user's legs to align the hips or behind the user's leg to elevate the knee or ankle. The therapeutic pants may include one or more retaining pockets configured to retain one or more cushions. In some embodiments, the cushions are removable from the retaining pockets. In some embodiments, at least one retaining pocket and at least one cushion are positioned along the medial (i.e., inner) side of each pant leg. The pant material that extends vertically along one or both lateral sides of each leg can be detachably secured, allowing the therapeutic pants to be readily and repeatedly equipped and removed.
ORTHOPEDIC DEVICE
An orthopedic device comprises a main body defining an outer surface and a cuff extending from an end portion of the main body with frictional material disposed on an inner surface of the first cuff. A hinge is connected to the main body and terminates along the main body short of the cuff. The cuff is arranged to fold over the outer surface of the main body in a disengaged configuration, such that the outer surface of the first cuff is adjacently against the outer surface of the main body.
FIXATION DEVICE FOR PELVIS
A fixation device for pelvis includes a front fixation plate and a back fixation plate. The front fixation plate and the rear fixation plate are detachably connected to form a receiving space for receiving the waist, the abdomen, the hip and the thighs. The front fixation plate includes a first left-side piece and a first right-side piece. The rear fixation plate includes a second left-side piece and a second right-side piece. The first left-side piece, the first right-side piece, the second left-side piece and the second right-side piece are respectively provided with a cavity for accommodating a polyurethane slurry. When in use, the cavities are respectively injected with the polyurethane slurry, and after the polyurethane slurry solidifies, the shape of the fixation device is matched to the waist, the abdomen, the hip and the thighs to support the patient's hip and pelvis.
Shoulder rehabilitation brace
A shoulder rehabilitation brace that operates to aid patients in rehabilitating their shoulder joint in an anatomically correct manner with the trapezius is locked down in order to prevent substantial upward shoulder shrug movements. Embodiments of the shoulder rehabilitation brace may include a shoulder strap and a thigh strap, with the shoulder strap using the thigh strap as an anchor while encircling a user's torso and engaging the user's shoulder to cause force to be exerted on the shoulder that prevents shoulder/scapular hiking and keeps the shoulder blade in retracted position in a manner that helps prevent potential shoulder impingement scenarios. In this regard, the shoulder rehabilitation brace is able to emulate the same hand on trapezius area function that therapists manually apply to patient rehabbing a shoulder condition in-clinic.
CLUBFOOT ORTHOTIC
Devices and methods for treating clubfoot are disclosed.
MOTION ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
A motion assistance apparatus includes a proximal support configured to support a proximal part of a user, a first drive link and a second drive link configured to perform translational motions with respect to the proximal support at different velocities, a support joint rotatably connected to the second drive link, a support body connecting the first drive link and the support joint, the support body configured to simultaneously perform a translational motion and a rotational motion with respect to the proximal support, a distal support connected to the support body, the distal support configured to support a distal part of the user, and a torque providing device configured to provide a torque to rotate the support joint.
Fixing module and motion assistance apparatus including the same
Provided are a fixing module and a motion assistance apparatus including the fixing module including a first side frame including a first central portion on one side of a user, a first front extending portion configured to extend from the first central portion along a front side of the user, and a first rear extending portion configured to extend from the first central portion along a rear side of the user, and a second side frame including a second central portion on another side of the user, a second front extending portion configured to extend from the second central portion along the front side of the user, and a second rear extending portion.
PELVIS CORRECTION EQUIPMENT FORMED OF COMBINATION OF PELVIS BELT AND PRESSING CORRECTION EQUIPMENT
A pelvis correction equipment includes: a pelvis belt for tightening for fastening a lower abdomen of a body, the pelvis belt being used for correcting opening of or strain on a joint portion between a sacral bone and an iliac bone which form a pelvis; a pressing position mark indicated on a surface of the pelvis belt for indicating a plurality of pressing correction portions; and a pressing correction equipment configured to be operated in such a manner that the pressing correction equipment presses the plurality of pressing correction portions along the pressing position mark of the pelvis belt mounted on the lower abdomen by fastening by way of the pelvis belt.
Reversibly engaged force-controlled buckle and pelvic ring support device incorporating such a buckle
A belt-like hip-girdling pelvic sling device for maintaining a desired amount of tension surrounding a person's hips and pelvis to securely support and stabilize a fractured pelvis, including a force-controlled buckle that automatically latches to control the tension and that includes a releasable latching mechanism. The latching mechanism maintains engagement of the buckle with a strap at the required position of the strap with respect to the buckle. The latching mechanism includes a movable member of the buckle that is moved to and latched in a position in which the buckle engages the strap, once a desired amount of tension is reached, limiting and maintaining the required tension.
Posture corrective brace
A posture corrective brace including a device for correcting asymmetry of the pelvis so as to surround the circumference of the pelvis, and/or a device for correcting asymmetry of the lower part of the thorax attached so as to surround the circumference of the lower part of the thorax, including: the innominate front compression part capable of abutting the abdominal part near the front side of the right or left innominate, and the innominate rear compression part capable of abutting the pelvis near the rear side of the right or left innominate; and/or the thorax front compression part capable of abutting the vicinity of the front side of the lower part of the right or left thorax, and the thorax rear compression part capable of abutting the vicinity of the rear side of the lower part of the right or left thorax.
