Hydrolytically Stable Phosphite Composition, Polymer Composition Comprising Said Hydrolytically Stable Phosphite Composition

The invention provides a hydrolytically stabilised phosphite composition, comprising: a. a phosphite antioxidant which is a liquid at ambient conditions and comprises a blend of at least two different phosphites of Formula I: wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are independently selected alkylated aryl groups of Formula II: wherein R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 alkyl, provided that at least one of R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 in each phosphite is selected from the group consisting of tert-butyl and/or tert-pentyl; and b. a nitrogen-containing compound comprising a nitrogen atom, wherein the nitrogen atom: i. has a pKaH value of from about 7 to about 11; and ii. is sp.sup.3 hybridised, and wherein the nitrogen-containing compound is absent any labile protons.

The invention provides a hydrolytically stabilised phosphite composition, comprising: a. a phosphite antioxidant which is a liquid at ambient conditions and comprises a blend of at least two different phosphites of Formula I: wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are independently selected alkylated aryl groups of Formula II: wherein R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and C.sub.1 to C.sub.6 alkyl, provided that at least one of R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 in each phosphite is selected from the group consisting of tert-butyl and/or tert-pentyl; and b. a nitrogen-containing compound comprising a nitrogen atom, wherein the nitrogen atom: i. has a pKaH value of from about 7 to about 11; and ii. is sp.sup.3 hybridised, and wherein the nitrogen-containing compound is absent any labile protons.

There is also provide a method of making the moisture-curable composition and a sealant comprising the same.

The present invention relates to a healthcare article comprising a polymer composition comprising a random propylene-ethylene copolymer, wherein the polymer composition comprises less than 150 ppm, preferably less than 100 ppm, more preferably less than 50 ppm, more preferably less than 20 ppm, most preferably 0 ppm of phthalates based on the weight of the random propylene ethylene copolymer.

The present invention relates to a healthcare article comprising a polymer composition comprising a random propylene-ethylene copolymer, wherein the polymer composition comprises less than 150 ppm, preferably less than 100 ppm, more preferably less than 50 ppm, more preferably less than 20 ppm, most preferably 0 ppm of phthalates based on the weight of the random propylene ethylene copolymer.

CROSSLINKABLE RESIN COMPOSITION AND ELECTRIC WIRE/CABLE
An object is to provide a crosslinkable resin composition which does not easily cause an increase in the pressure and a discharge variation in an extruder charged with the crosslinkable resin composition, with which an insulating coating layer can be continuously and stably formed by extrusion molding for a long time, thereby realizing an increase in the production unit of an electric wire/cable.
A crosslinkable resin composition of the present invention contains 100 parts by mass of an ethylene-based resin (A), a stabilizer (B) containing 0.001 to 0.5 parts by mass of a hindered amine light stabilizer (B3), and 0.5 to 3.0 parts by mass of an organic peroxide (C). The hindered amine light stabilizer (B3) is a mixture of a low-molecular-weight hindered amine compound having a molecular weight of 100 to 1,000 and a high-molecular-weight hindered amine compound having a molecular weight of 1,500 to 5,000. The hindered amine light stabilizer (B3) has a reduced viscosity of 3.5 to 5.5 cm.sup.3/g (40° C.) and a reduced viscosity of 2.0 to 3.5 cm.sup.3/g (110° C.).
