SQUARYLIUM DYE AND COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME
A squarylium dye [A] that has high invisibility, i.e., exhibits low absorption in the visible light region (400 nm to 750 nm), has excellent near-infrared absorption capability and high light resistance, tends not to exhibit aggregations, and has specific X-ray diffraction peaks; and an image-forming material and the like containing the squarylium dye [A] having said characteristics. The problem is solved by a squarylium dye [A] having specific X-ray diffraction peaks represented by general formula (1). Moreover, the problem is also solved by various materials containing the squarylium dye [A].
PHOTOSENSITIVE RESIN COMPOSITION, PHOTOSENSITIVE DRY FILM, AND PATTERN FORMING PROCESS
A photosensitive resin composition comprising (A) a silicone resin containing an epoxy and/or phenolic hydroxyl group, (B) a photoacid generator, and (C) a cure promoter selected from diazabicycloundecene, diazabicyclononene, an organic salt of diazabicycloundecene derivative, and an organic salt of diazabicyclononene derivative is shelf stable. A photosensitive resin coating obtained therefrom may be processed to form a fine size pattern. The resin coating has improved film properties including chemical resistance, adhesion to substrates, mechanical properties, electric insulation, and copper migration resistance, and is thus fully reliable as an insulating protective film.

Solar reflective coating composition
A solar reflective coating composition includes: a film-forming resin; a plurality of near-IR transparent pigments dispersed in the film-forming resin, the plurality of near-IR transparent pigments including a first perylene pigment and a second perylene pigment different from the first perylene pigment; and a near-IR reflective pigment dispersed in the film-forming resin, the near-IR reflective pigment different from the first perylene pigment and the second perylene pigment. When formed into a cured coating over a substrate, the cured coating exhibits an off-white or grey color. The solar reflective coating composition is substantially free of carbon black. The present invention is also directed to a substrate having a surface at least partially coated with a solar reflective coating composition and a method of preparing a low weight aerospace component.
