Provided is a flame retardant agent composition containing the following components (A) and (B): component (A): a phosphate-based flame retardant agent containing at least any one of the following components (A-1) to (A-3): component (A-1): one or more melamine salts selected from the group consisting of melamine orthophosphate, melamine pyrophosphate, and melamine polyphosphate; component (A-2): one or more piperazine salts selected from the group consisting of piperazine orthophosphate, piperazine pyrophosphate, and piperazine polyphosphate; and component (A-3): one or more ammonium salts selected from the group consisting of ammonium orthophosphate, ammonium pyrophosphate, and ammonium polyphosphate; and component (B): one or more acid-modified polyolefins.

The present invention is directed to a non-vulcanized rubber composition which is comprised of (1) 90 phr to 100 phr cis 1,4-polyisoprene; (2) 10 phr to 40 phr of pre-silanized precipitated silica; (3) 10 phr to 40 phr of carbon black, (4) 0.1 phr to 5 phr of a cobalt salt, and (5) 1 phr to 15 phr of a resinous reaction product of a methylene donor composition and a methylene acceptor composition. Moreover, the present invention is directed to a tire or tire component comprising the cured rubber composition.

A tackifier composition comprising at least one thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin and an antioxidant composition is provided; wherein a portion of the volatile organic compounds in the thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin has been removed; wherein the antioxidant composition comprises at least one primary antioxidant and at least one secondary antioxidant; and wherein the levels of individual volatile organic compound monitored in the tackifier composition are less than about 0.5 ppm as measured by GC/MS headspace analysis. Processes for producing the tackifier composition are also provided as well as adhesives comprising the tackifier compositions.
