A pneumatic tire that rotates about a center axis includes a tread rubber that comprises a contact patch; a groove provided in the tread rubber, the groove having an inner surface that includes a bottom surface and side surfaces that connect the bottom surface to the contact patch; and a coating film disposed covering at least a portion of the inner surface, the coating film reducing exposure of ultraviolet light to the inner surface.

In an embodiment is provided a polymer that includes a plurality of N-J-N or N—C—S repeating units, wherein each J is independently a carbon atom, an alkyl group, or an aryl group; a plurality of hydrophilic groups bonded with the repeating units; and a plurality of hydrophobic groups bonded with the hydrophilic groups and the repeating units. In another embodiment is provided hydrogels of such polymers. The hydrogels may be used as delivery vehicles for various payloads. In another embodiment is provided methods of forming such polymers.

The photocurable silicone composition comprises: (A) a specific organopolysiloxane having alkenyl groups in a molecule; (B) a compound having at least two thiol groups in a molecule; (C) a photoradical initiator having a phosphorus atom; and (D) a specific hydroxyphenyl triazine compound. The composition exhibits excellent curability by LED lamp with wide UV-Visible range as well as metal-halide lamp, and cures to form a cure product exhibiting excellent resistance to light.

Provided is a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet that can temporarily fix an adherend in a peelable manner, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet being free from requiring the application of high-output laser light at the time of the peeling of the adherend and being capable of eliminating the need for a step of washing the adherend after the peeling. The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention includes a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing a UV absorber and an active energy ray-curable pressure-sensitive adhesive, wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet has a transmittance of 50% or less for light having a wavelength of 355 nm. In one embodiment, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a thickness of 20 μm or less. In one embodiment, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet has a visible light transmittance of 50% or more.

A medical rubber composition can contain, comprise, consist, or consist essentially of: (a) an isobutylene-isoprene rubber: (b) a diene-based rubber; and a silica having a BET specific surface area not lower than 130 m.sup.2/g. An amount of (a) the isobutylene-isoprene rubber contained in 100 parts by mass of a rubber component composed of (a) the isobutylene-isoprene rubber and (b) the diene-based rubber can be larger than 30 parts by mass and smaller than 55 parts by mass.

A medical rubber composition can contain, comprise, consist, or consist essentially of: (a) an isobutylene-isoprene rubber: (b) a diene-based rubber; and a silica having a BET specific surface area not lower than 130 m.sup.2/g. An amount of (a) the isobutylene-isoprene rubber contained in 100 parts by mass of a rubber component composed of (a) the isobutylene-isoprene rubber and (b) the diene-based rubber can be larger than 30 parts by mass and smaller than 55 parts by mass.

The invention provides a copolyetherester compositions that are resistant to burning and which show reduced smoke production when exposed to heat or flame.
