PROPPANT MATERIALS FOR ADDITIVE DELIVERY
A proppant material can include a core and an extended-release coating overlying the core. The extended release coating can include a polymer and an additive contained within the polymer.
Treatment methods using aqueous fluids containing oil-soluble treatment agents
A method of treating a well or a subterranean formation with an aqueous treatment fluid containing one or more oil-soluble, water-insoluble well treatment agents. The fluid includes an aqueous dispersion containing the well treatment agent in an amount from 25 to 60 weight percent. The volume average particle diameter of the oil-soluble well treatment agent in the fluid may be less than or equal to 2.5 microns. The fluid may further contain a water-soluble well treatment agent.
Wellbore servicing materials and methods of making and using same
A method of servicing a wellbore in a subterranean formation comprising preparing a wellbore servicing fluid comprising a particulate material, an aqueous base fluid, an oleaginous fluid, and a macromolecular surfactant, and placing the wellbore servicing fluid in the wellbore and/or subterranean formation to consolidate and/or enhance conductivity of at least a portion of the wellbore and/or subterranean formation. A method of servicing a wellbore in a subterranean formation comprising preparing a wellbore servicing fluid comprising a particulate material, an aqueous base fluid, an oleaginous fluid, and a macromolecular surfactant, wherein the particulate material comprises sand, and the macromolecular surfactant comprises a hydrophobically modified polyethyleneimine, and placing the wellbore servicing fluid in the wellbore and/or subterranean formation to consolidate and/or enhance conductivity of at least a portion of the wellbore and/or subterranean formation.
FRACTURES TREATMENT
A fracture treatment method includes forming propped regions having an optimized conductivity. Also disclosed are systems to treat a fracture interval and to produce reservoir fluids from a formation.
Compositions and methods for cross-linking hydratable polymers using produced water
Fracturing fluid compositions including a base fluid including a high TDS produced and/or flow back water, brackish water, RO reject water, clear brine, and mixtures thereof with or without added fresh water and systems, and methods for making and using same, where the method includes: (a) adding a first buffer to adjust the pH of a base fluid to an acidic pH, (b) adding a hydratable polymer or polymer slurry to the base fluid to form a hydratable polymer fracturing fluid, (c) adding a cross-linking composition to the hydratable polymer fracturing fluid to form a pre-cross-linked fracturing fluid, and (d) if needed, adding a second buffer to the pre-cross-linked fracturing fluid to adjust the pH of the pre-cross-linked fracturing fluid to form a viscosified fracturing fluid having a crosslinked structure.
POLYMER DISPERSIONS FOR WAX INHIBITION DURING STIMULATION TREATMENT
The present invention relates to a method of inhibiting or control wax formation during stimulation treatment of a well. More specifically, the present invention proposes the use of aqueous polymer dispersions suitable as wax inhibitor compositions which are compatible with aqueous fracturing fluids.
POWDER COMPRISING HYDROLYZABLE RESIN PARTICLES
A powder comprising hydrolyzable resin particle, containing particles which do not pass through a sieve having an opening size of 500 μm in an amount of 50 mass % or more and having a repose angle of 51° or more. This powder is preferably used as an additive for drilling to enhance the drilling properties of a drilling fluid and improve the retentivity of a fracture extending from a winze.
DEGRADABLE ALIPHATIC POLYESTER FLUID
Viscous degradable fluids for use in fluid loss control, diversion, gravel packing, fracturing, and acidizing operations, method of preparing the viscous degradable fluids, and methods of using the viscous degradable fluids in subterranean operations are disclosed. At least one aliphatic polyester is dissolved in a solvent comprising triacetin to form a viscous degradable fluid. The viscous degradable fluid can be injected directly into a subterranean formation or mixed with other fluids and/or additives before being injected into the subterranean formation, where it can temporarily block or restrict flow through openings in the formation.
Multifunctional friction reducers
Methods of treating a subterranean formation are described. The methods include introducing a treatment fluid that includes a friction reducing polymer (e.g., a cationic friction reducing polymer) into the subterranean formation. The cationic friction reducing polymer is allowed to degrade and release choline chloride or polyDADMAC, which can each act as a clay stabilizer.
Silane-Functionalized Polyalkyleneimine Clay Stabilizer for Treatment of Subterranean Formations
Various embodiments disclosed relate to a silane-functionalized polyalkyleneimine (PAI) clay stabilizer for treatment of subterranean formations. In various embodiments, the present invention provides a method of treating a subterranean formation. The method can include placing in the subterranean formation a silane-functionalized PAI clay stabilizer.
