A roll of cleaning fabric is used for cleaning printing cylinders of a printing system. The cleaning fabric (13) is impregnated with a cleaning composition containing an organic solvent and a cellulose solubilizer. The roll may be wound around a core (14) and inserted in a removable sealing bag (15) configured to seal around the roll (12) of cleaning fabric (13) in order to prevent the cleaning composition from evaporating before use.

DEVELOPMENT OF EXTENSIONAL VISCOSITY FOR REDUCED ATOMIZATION FOR DILUTED CONCENTRATE SPRAYER APPLICATIONS

A non-Newtonian concentrate composition includes a sensitizer or irritant, a surfactant, an anti-mist component and optionally a stability component. Example sensitizers and irritants include, but are not limited to, acids, quaternary compounds, and amines, and example anti-mist components include, but are not limited to, polyethylene oxide and polyacrylamide.

Detergent single dose packs and methods of producing the same

A single dose pack and methods for producing and using the same are provided. In one embodiment, a single dose pack includes a wash composition encapsulated within a water-soluble container formed from a water-soluble or water-dispersible film. The wash composition includes an ionic detergent surfactant present at from about 5 to about 55 weight percent, water present at from about 5 to about 20 weight percent, glycerol present at from about 3 to about 56 weight percent, polyethylene glycol present at from about 8 to about 56 weight percent, and optionally propylene glycol present at from about 0 to about 35 weight percent, based on a total weight of the wash composition. A sum of the glycerol, the polyethylene glycol, and the propylene glycol is present at from about 22 to about 60 weight percent, based on the total weight of the wash composition.

A unit dose detergent pack includes a pouch and a structured detergent composition encapsulated within the pouch. The structured detergent composition includes a surfactant component including an alcohol ethoxy sulfate having a C.sub.8-C.sub.20 backbone that is ethoxylated with from about 1 to about 10 moles of ethylene oxide, a linear alkyl benzene sulfonate, a C.sub.8-C.sub.20 alcohol alkoxylated with about 2 to about 12 moles of an alkylene oxide, water and a non-aqueous solvent component. The structured detergent composition is free of an added rheology modifier. A combination of the surfactant component and the non-aqueous solvent component is present in a weight ratio of actives with a total amount of water of from about 1:0.4 to about 1:0.75 such that the structured detergent composition has a viscosity of at least about 100 Pa.s.

WATER-SOLUBLE REFILL DOSE ARTICLE ENCLOSING A CONCENTRATED CLEANSER COMPOSITION AND KITS HAVING SAME
20210244632 · 2021-08-12 · ·

Water-soluble refill dose articles for forming a cleanser have a water-soluble film defining a first compartment enclosing a first composition and a second compartment enclosing a second composition, which are individual separate articles or are part of an integral article. The first composition has a rheology modifier, a first surfactant, 10% or less by weight water, 20% or less by weight glycol, and the first surfactant does not activate the rheology modifier. The second compartment has an alkaline substance that when mixed with the first composition and water activates the rheology modifier to increase the viscosity of a resulting cleanser and 10% or less by weight water. When the article is diluted in water at a 1:1 to 1:20 ratio, it produces a cleanser having a viscosity within a range of 2000 cps to 50,000 cps.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL AROMATIC ALCOHOLS FOR PERSONAL CARE, HOME CARE AND INDUSTRIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL COMPOSITIONS

Single ingredient, multifunctional additives for use in a wide variety of products comprise aromatic alcohols including without limitation 3-phenylpropanol, 2-phenylethanol, 2-methyl-3-phenylpropanol, methyl benzene ethanol, methyl benzene propanol, or 4-phenyl-1-butanol, or mixtures thereof. The multifunctional aromatic alcohols provide unexpected improvements in processing and in end use product properties of a wide variety of products and are useful at a wide range of pH.

PROCESS FOR TREATING A FABRIC AND RELATED COMPOSITIONS

Laundry additive compositions that include a metal sequestration agent and that may be characterized by an acidic pH. Related methods of treating a fabric, for example with a wash liquor and a rinse liquor, with such compositions and/or agents. Uses of such laundry additive compositions.
