The disclosure relates to a wound dressing comprising a fibre fleece-based body, and a packaging forming the outer visible sides of the wound dressing, which packaging contains a layer made from a flat textile on the side of the wound dressing facing the wound, which has an outer-side, partially and structurally applied coating, and wherein the packaging has a fibre fleece layer on the side of the wound dressing facing away from the wound, which forms the outer visible side of the wound dressing; and, a liquid-impermeable plastic film layer on the side of the fibre fleece layer facing the wound, and wherein the fibre fleece layer, the plastic film layer, the body and the textile layer are not connected to one another, but rather lie with the flat sides thereof loosely and movably against one another and are only connected along the peripheral edges by a joint connection.

A WOUND DRESSING FOR COMBINED NEGATIVE PRESSURE AND FLUID DELIVERY SYSTEM

A multi-action wound dressing for accelerated wound healing by means of multi-therapeutic action is disclosed. The dressing comprises a porous sheet (101); two flexible sheets (102) having a first sheet (103) and a second sheet (104) attached to each other; multichannel conduits (105) or a plurality of single channel conduits; multichannel tubes (106), side adhesive tapes (107) and an optional wound contact layer (108). The porous sheet (101) includes a top planar surface (201), thickness (202) and a bottom uneven surface (203). The bottom uneven surface (203) lies on the surface of the wound and may have surface patterns (204). The pattern (204) may be wavy patterns and/or any other regular and/or irregular surface protrusion that allow intermediate gaps between wound surface and the bottom surface (203) of the porous sheet through which fluid can flow over the wound surface.

NEGATIVE PRESSURE WOUND THERAPY DRESSINGS WITH LOCAL OXYGEN GENERATION FOR TOPICAL WOUND THERAPY AND RELATED METHODS

This disclosure includes negative pressure wound therapy dressings with local oxygen generation for topical wound therapy. The dressings (18) for facilitating delivery of oxygen and application of negative pressure to target tissue include a manifold (46) that defines a plurality of gas passageways (50) and is configured to allow communication of oxygen to the target tissue; an oxygen-generating material (146) that is configured to release oxygen when exposed to water; a gas-occlusive layer (74) configured to be disposed over the manifold and the oxygen-generating material and coupled to tissue surrounding the target tissue such that an interior volume containing the manifold and the oxygen-generating material is defined between the gas-occlusive layer and the target tissue; and a port (94) coupled to the gas-occlusive layer and configured to be coupled to a negative pressure source.

Modifiable Occlusive Skin Dressing

Occlusive tissue dressings and methods including an elastomeric drape and a liquid component, at least partially cross-linked at least after one of drying and curing, suitable for application at a dressing-to-skin interface in order to create a substantially air-tight seal. The same or a different liquid component may be applied by a user at a tube-to-dressing interface in order to create a similar air-tight seal around the tube, if not occlusively sealed during its manufacture.

A wound therapy apparatus is disclosed that includes a wound interface securable to a skin surface around a wound bed to form an enclosed space over the wound bed that is fluid-tight. The wound therapy apparatus-may include a dressing engaged with the wound interface to contact the wound bed. A spacer may be disposed within the enclosed space proximal of the dressing to define a plenum between portions of the wound interface and a proximal side of the dressing. Gas within the enclosed space may have an O.sub.2 concentration greater than the O.sub.2 concentration in atmospheric air. The dressing may include a hydrophobic material, hydrophobic material, or a distal layer comprised of silicone having fenestrations therein, in various aspects. The pressure p.sub.0 within the enclosed space may vary over a pressure range p.sub.minp.sub.0p.sub.max. Related methods of use are also disclosed.

Device, method and assembly for wound treatment. Specifically a wound dressing device; an assembly, e.g. a kit-of-parts, including the device as a component; and method of wound dressing and use wherein the device is a key component. The device includes a cavity defined by concave walls surrounded by lips for attachment to skin in fluid tight manner and a closure removably fixed to the lips and sealing the cavity. The assembly also includes, as another component a device for introducing blood into the cavity after it is fixed over a wound to permit the blood to clot over the wound within the cavity. In use, the clotting mold device is fixed on top of a wound, and blood is introduced into the mold space to permit the blood to clot within the mold space to form a blood clot over the wound.
