Device for treating a cutaneous ulcer
A device treats a region of the body of a patient having a cutaneous ulcer, including: a hydrogel, hydrocolloid, hydrocellular or hydrofiber primary dressing, impregnated with treprostinil, that can be shaped to the contours of the region to be treated, a so-called active electrode in contact with the primary dressing, a so-called passive electrode at a distance from the active electrode, a DC generator, the terminals of which are connected to the electrodes, the cathode and the anode respectively forming the active electrode and the passive electrode for iontophoresis, so as to cause treprostinil to migrate by cathodal iontophoresis into the region to be treated.
VACUUM WOUND THERAPY WOUND DRESSING WITH VARIABLE PERFORMANCE ZONES
A dressing for an open wound includes a cover layer dimensioned for positioning relative to a wound bed. The cover layer permits an evacuation of the space around the wound bed such that a sub-atmospheric pressure may be established to stimulate healing and facilitate the removal of fluid from the wound. Multiple performance zones in the cover layer allow the wound dressing to remain in position through repeated cycles of evacuation without placing undue strain on the wound bed. An outer peripheral zone may include a high peal-strength adhesive while an intermediate zone may include a shear resistant adhesive. A central zone may be devoid of any coating to maximize moisture transmission through cover layer.
Barrier patch with soluble film and methods of improving skin appearance
A beauty care product is provided. The beauty care product is a multi-layered barrier patch with a water soluble film zone comprising a polyethylene oxide, methylcellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, and combinations thereof, and a cosmetic composition comprising an effective amount of a skin active agent. The product also has a barrier patch with a backing layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive zone wherein the adhesive zone and the soluble film zone are continuous, discontinuous, or a combination thereof. The soluble film zone or product is capable of changing from a first visual state to a second visual state.

WOUND DRESSING DEVICE, ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
Device, method and assembly for wound treatment. Specifically a wound dressing device; an assembly, e.g. a kit-of-parts, including the device as a component; and method of wound dressing and use wherein the device is a key component. The device includes a cavity defined by concave walls surrounded by lips for attachment to skin in fluid tight manner and a closure removably fixed to the lips and sealing the cavity. The assembly also includes, as another component a device for introducing blood into the cavity after it is fixed over a wound to permit the blood to clot over the wound within the cavity. In use, the clotting mold device is fixed on top of a wound, and blood is introduced into the mold space to permit the blood to clot within the mold space to form a blood clot over the wound.
DEVICE FOR WOUND CARE, METHOD TO MANUFACTURE AND USES THEREOF
A device for wound care, related method of manufacturing and uses are provided. The device 100 comprises a base layer 10, a functional layer 20 supported on the base layer and containing at least one chemical substance 21 suitable for wound care and a coating film 22 laid over said functional layer and having a skin-contact surface 22A. The coating film 22 is configured, upon being contacted with skin, to dissolve and to release said chemical substance 21 to skin through the skin-contact surface 22A. The coating film 22 is preferably an atomic layer deposition (ALD) film.
ANIMAL BANDAGE WRAP INCLUDING AN ANTIMICROBIAL COATING
A wrap for a non-human animal comprises: a wrap for a non-human animal comprises: an elastic portion; an exterior surface; and an antimicrobial coating applied to the exterior surface. The antimicrobial coating includes a silane quaternary ammonium ion or salt thereof. The exterior surface can adhere to itself. The elastic portion can comprise natural rubber. The silane quaternary ammonium ion or salt thereof is one or more of: 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium ion, 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride, 3-(trihydroxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium ion, or 3-(trihydroxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride. The antimicrobial coating applied to the exterior surface imparts antimicrobial properties onto the wrap. The antimicrobial coating can be applied to the wrap by applying a solution that includes the silane quaternary ammonium ion or salt thereof to the exterior surface. The silane quaternary ammonium ion or salt thereof can be between 0.1 percent and 10 percent by weight of the solution.
Post-Operative Hybrid Dressing To Optimize Skin-Grafting Procedures In Reconstructive Surgery
A device and associated method for treating a skin graft donor site includes a sheet having dimensions to cover the skin graft donor site and an area of skin surrounding the skin graft donor site. An adhesive is provided that has properties of adhering to the skin and the sheet in a manner that forms a liquid impermeable boundary surrounding the skin graft donor site. A port is integrated with the sheet that enables a suction force to be applied therethrough to produce a negative pressure between the sheet and skin graft donor site to manage fluid produced by the skin graft donor site.
WOUND COVERING FOR WOUND MONITORING AND THERAPEUTIC AGENT DELIVERY
A wound covering includes a flexible main body, and a sensor element incorporated into the main body. The sensor element includes a mesh formed from a plurality of fibers, and is configured to undergo a change in appearance in response to a change in a parameter associated with wound exudate. The wound covering further includes a supply of therapeutic agent configured to diffuse therapeutic agent from the wound covering into a wound when the wound covering is placed on a wound.
Patches for localized use
The present invention relates to a device and a method. The device of the present invention comprising a patch comprising: a substrate, and an adhesive on the substrate. Further, the patch is configured to be attached to a skin via the adhesive to form a pocket between the patch and the skin, to allow introduction of a material into the pocket, and to hold the material within the pocket.
