The device, when electrolyzing water, can prepare water which has a low oxidation reduction potential, is rich in hydrogen and has a certain sterilization capability and is suitable for drinking.
Construction of devices for purification and disinfection of waste water with electrical current
The invention provides a device to purify waste water by a two-step procedure containing an electroflotation unit and an electrical disinfection unit integrated into the same overall construction. Characteristic to the construction is that the said two units have a common anode and two individual cathodes which can be in different potentials in respect to the common anode.

Electrode for electrochemical abatement of chemical oxygen demand of industrial wastes
The invention relates to an electrode suitable for decreasing the chemical oxygen demand of waste-water comprising: a) a permanent component; and b) a sacrificial component arranged face-to-face and releasably attached to the permanent component and in electrical contact therewith, said permanent component consisting of a Substrate of a valve metal equipped with a catalytic coating containing noble metals or oxides thereof, said sacrificial component containing elemental iron. Further the invention relates to a method for abatement of the chemical oxygen demand in an aqueous waste containing oily compounds, glycols or waxes, optionally consisting of a foundry waste, by an electrolytic process involving anodic chlorine evolution in the presence of trivalent iron. Chlorine evolution may be carried out on the surface of an anode consisting of a catalytically activated-valve metal permanent component coupled to an iron-containing sacrificial component.

The method of manufacturing electrodes includes providing a metal substrate having first and second surfaces opposite to each other, performing a patterning process on the first surface of the metal substrate, coating an electrode material on the first surface of the metal substrate, after the patterning process, and irradiating the electrode material, which is coated on the metal substrate, with light. The patterning process includes forming a plurality of holes to penetrate the metal substrate or forming a plurality of grooves to have a shape recessed from the first surface toward the second surface.
Device for preparing washing water
A device for preparing washing water, belonging to the technical field of electro-chemical and membrane filtration water treatment. The device comprises a water container which is respectively provided with a water inlet and a water outlet; at least one pair of a cathode and an anode are arranged within the water container; a water-permeable porous membrane is clamped between the coupled cathode and anode with no gaps, and the area of the inside of the water-permeable porous membrane opposite the cathode or the anode is smaller than the area of the inside of the cathode or the anode opposite the water-permeable porous membrane. The device can generate washing water which contains a large a number of ultra-micro bubbles and strong oxidation factors and has excellent reducibility.
Aquaculture system
An aquaculture system is provided. The aquaculture system includes a cultivation pond, a water circulation unit, a water quality detector, and a water processing module. The cultivation pond for storing the cultivation water has a recirculation inlet and recirculation outlet. The water circulation unit is in fluid communication with the cultivation pond to allow the cultivation water in the cultivation pond to circulate through the water circulation unit. The water quality detector is used to detect the quality of the water to obtain water quality information. The water processing module includes an electrolytic gas generator and a control unit to improve the quality of water. The control unit receives the water quality information and adjusts the applied voltage on the electrolytic gas generator according to the water quality information to control the gas species and a ratio of the gases generated by the electrolytic gas generator.
