A transcatheter heart valve includes a paravalvular seal that is configured for transfemoral delivery. The valve includes an outer frame and the seal is formed from a plurality of outwardly extending fibers.

TRANSCATHETER VALVE RECAPTURE DEVICES AND METHODS

Delivery catheters for delivery of prosthetic heart valves are provided. The delivery catheters include brim recapture funnels configured for recapture of prosthetic heart valves. The brim recapture funnels are configured to recapture valve brims of partially deployed prosthetic heart valves to reduce or minimize damage to patient anatomy during a valve withdrawal procedure.

OSTIAL STENT DELIVERY DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD

An ostial stent delivery device may include a first elongate shaft including a first lumen and extending along a central longitudinal axis, wherein the first elongate shaft includes a first inflatable balloon fixedly attached proximate a distal end of the first elongate shaft; and a second elongate shaft including a second lumen, the first elongate shaft being at least partially disposed within the second lumen. The second elongate shaft includes a second inflatable balloon fixedly attached proximate a distal end of the second elongate shaft. The second inflatable balloon is disposed at least partially proximal of the first inflatable balloon. The first inflatable balloon has a substantially cylindrical shape along a majority of its length in the deployed configuration. The second inflatable balloon has a substantially biconical shape having a central axis oriented parallel to the central longitudinal axis in the deployed configuration.

Vessel filter and methods for use

An apparatus and methods for use are provided, where the apparatus includes: (a) a filter, and (b) a frame having a first end and a second end, wherein the frame includes a first support and a second support extending between the first end and the second end, wherein at least the first support and the second support of the frame are coupled to at least a portion of a periphery of the filter, wherein the frame and the filter together define a lumen, wherein the frame has shape memory and is movable between a first position in which the lumen has a first diameter and a second position in which the lumen has a second diameter, and wherein the first diameter is smaller than the second diameter.

Removable embolus blood clot filter

A removable blood clot filter includes a number of locator members and anchor members disposed radially and extending angularly downward from a hub. The locator members include a number of linear portions having distinct axes configured to place a tip portion approximately parallel to the walls of a blood vessel when implanted to apply sufficient force to the vessel walls to position the filter near the vessel centerline. The anchor members each include a hook configured to penetrate the vessel wall to prevent longitudinal movement due to blood flow. The hooks may have a cross section sized to allow for a larger radius of curvature under strain so that the filter can be removed without damaging the vessel wall.

Reusable Breast Implant Delivery Apparatus with External Fluid Pressure Delivery System
20230044611 · 2023-02-09 · ·

An implant delivery device suitable for delivery of breast implants features a reusable design that can be autoclaved to sterilize between uses. External fluid pressure is selectively delivered to a housing with the implant inside and can be regulated by the surgeon. The application of fluid pressure can be paused with the already applied pressure retained in the housing giving mechanical advantages for easier force application by the surgeon for enhanced control of the position of the implant within the housing and as it exits the outlet of the housing. The housing can be transparent to aid in observing the implant position and orientation as it moves through the housing. The outlet tip can be slant cut to allow for a fixed opening of the incision before delivering the implant to the surgical site. The housing cover is configured for rapid attachment with a seal that is amenable for autoclaving.

Modular Prosthetic Sockets and Method for Making Same

A prosthetic socket for a residual limb of the lower extremity or upper extremity of an individual person is provided. The residual limb has particular dimensions and anatomical contours; the prosthetic socket has dimensions and contours that fit the dimensions and contours of the residual limb. The prosthetic socket may also fit in a manner that is biomechanically appropriate for the individual. The prosthetic socket may be an assembly from groups of components that include (a) struts arranged longitudinally with respect to the residual limb, (b) proximal brim members arranged proximally to the struts and connected thereto; and (c) distal socket members disposed at the distal base of the prosthetic socket. The socket components within these groups may be modular in that they can vary with respect to dimensions and/or contours, and yet have common connecting features that permit assembly of the components together to form the prosthetic socket.

EMBOLUS BLOOD CLOT FILTER REMOVAL SYSTEM AND METHOD

A blood filter extraction system for extracting a blood filter from within a blood vessel. The system includes an extraction wire, or plurality of such wires, positioned within an elongated tubular member. A plurality of extraction wires coupled to the distal end of the extraction member each include a hook for engaging filter members. Alternatively, the extraction wires may be one or more wires configured in a helical shape which engage filter members when the extraction member is rotated. The system may also include an elongated tubular member with the distal end having a conical shape. To extract a filter, the extraction wires are then pushed out of the tubular member and into the filter members. The extraction member is then withdrawn or rotated so the wires engage and draw in the filter members, after which the catheter is pushed over the conical portion of the tubular member.
