AQUEOUS POLYURETHANE RESIN COMPOSITION AND COATING MATERIAL USING THE COMPOSITION
Provided is an aqueous polyurethane resin composition which is excellent in finished appearance as well as excellent in impact resistance, such as chipping resistance, and adhesion.
The aqueous polyurethane resin composition includes a polyurethane resin obtained from at least (a) at least two types of organic diisocyanate compounds and/or polyisocyanate compounds which are different from each other, (b) a polyol compound; (c) an acidic group-containing compounds comprising at least two types of compounds which are a compound containing a carboxyl group as the acid group (a carboxyl group-containing compound) and a compound containing a sulfo group as the acid group (a sulfo group-containing compound); and (d) a chain extender of a polyamine compound, a diamine compound, a polyol compound and/or an alkanolamine compound with a molecular weight of not more than 400, in which the aqueous polyurethane resin composition has a viscosity of not less than 500 Pa.Math.s and not more than 50,000 Pa.Math.s when the polyurethane resin is contained in an amount of 65% by weight.

The present invention relates to a moisture-crosslinkable sealant composition comprising: at least one polyurethane P comprising at least two NCO end functions; at least one polyimine A obtained via a process comprising a step of reaction between at least: a) a (poly)urethane-aldehyde comprising at least 2 aldehyde functions; b) a primary diamine; c) optionally in the presence of a primary monoamine or a monoaldehyde if the —CHO/NH.sub.2 molar ratio is other than 1.
Prepolymer of elastomer material for screw drilling tool and preparation method thereof
A prepolymer of elastomer material for screw drilling tools and a preparation method thereof are provided. The prepolymer includes component A and component B, wherein the component A includes hydroxyl-terminated liquid rubber, polytetrahydrofuran diol, and polyether polyol; the component B includes at least one of an isocyanate, a cyanate, and a cyano compound; the mass ratio of the hydroxyl-terminated liquid rubber, polytetrahydrofuran diol, and polyether polyol is (0.2-1.0): (0.2-1.0): (0.2-1.0). Different molecular segments of different proportions are introduced through structural design, such that the molecular structure of the prepolymer has both rigid and flexible segments, thus to achieve an adjustable and controllable structure of the prepolymer; and the introduction of active groups makes the prepolymer to show good reactivity and processability. Therefore, a reactive elastomer material having excellent properties such as hardness, tear strength, and tensile strength can be obtained used as an elastomer material for screw drilling tools.
Partially coated films and packages formed from same
The present invention provides coated films and packages formed from such films. In one aspect, a partially coated film comprises (a) a film having two outer surfaces, wherein a first outer surface is provided by a film layer that comprises from 70 to 100 percent by weight of a polyolefin having a density of 0.860 to 0.965 g/cm.sup.3; and (b) a coating on the first outer surface of the film comprising polyurethane, wherein the coating covers less than 25% of the surface area of the first outer surface of the film and wherein the coated portion of the film exhibits an Elmendorf tear in at least one of the machine direction or cross direction that is at least 20% less than the Elmendorf tear of the uncoated portion in the same direction, with the Elmendorf tear being measured in accordance with ASTM D1922.
Polyurethane coating compositions and their use as gel coats
Polyurethane coating compositions are disclosed that include an isocyanate-reactive component that includes a polycyclic polyether polyol that is the reaction product of a reaction mixture that includes a polycyclic polyol starter, and an alkylene oxide, as well as an isocyanate-functional component that includes a non-aromatic polyisocyanate. The polyurethane coating compositions may be particularly useful as a gel coat in the manufacture of glass fiber reinforced plastics.
CURABLE COMPOSITION, URETHANE RESIN, AND HEAT DISSIPATION MEMBER
The present invention aims to provide a urethane resin and a heat dissipation component each having excellent thermal conductivity and excellent flexibility. The present invention relates to a curable composition containing: a polyol (A); a polyisocyanate (B); at least one dispersant (C) for inorganic fillers selected from the group consisting of a phosphate ester (C1), a C12-C24 fatty acid (C2), a sucrose fatty acid ester (C3), a sorbitan fatty acid ester (C4), and a glycerol fatty acid ester (C5); and an inorganic filler (D), the curable composition satisfying the following requirements (1) to (3) that (1) the polyol (A) contains a polyalkylene glycol (A1) having a chemical formula weight or number average molecular weight of 1000 or less in an amount of 50% by weight or more based on the weight of the polyol (A); (2) the inorganic filler (D) is contained in an amount of 70 to 97% by weight based on the weight of the curable composition; and (3) the total weight of the dispersant (C) for inorganic fillers is 1 to 5 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the inorganic filler (D), the phosphate ester (C1) being represented by the following formula (1):

Polyurethane hot-melt adhesive, laminated body using same, and method for producing laminated body
Disclosed is a polyurethane hot-melt adhesive including: a thermoplastic polyurethane that is a reactant of a raw material including a polymer polyol, a polyisocyanate, and a chain extender, wherein X−Y≥15, where X represents a temperature (° C.) at which the polyurethane hot-melt adhesive has a melt viscosity of 2.0×10.sup.3 Pa.Math.s, and Y represents a temperature at which the polyurethane hot-melt adhesive has a melt viscosity of 1.0×10.sup.5 Pa.Math.s, and the polyurethane hot-melt adhesive has a 100% modulus of 2.5 MPa or more.
Two-component polyurethane sealant for application at low temperature
A two-component composition is described which comprises A) an isocyanate component comprising an isocyanate-terminated urethane prepolymer, B) a water component comprising water, and at least one latent amine hardener in component A). The two-component composition of the invention is suitable as a sealant, in particular as a joint sealant. Particular advantages are that primerless application is possible with good adhesion, even at low temperatures, such as 4.4° C. or below. The substrate to be sealed are preferably concrete substrates.
ADHESIVE AGENT, LAMINATE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LAMINATE, AND PACKAGING MATERIAL
Provided are a two-component curable adhesive which can be aged at room temperature and has favorable adhesiveness to various base materials, a laminate in which the adhesiveness between a base material and an adhesive is excellent even when aged at room temperature, and a packaging material including the laminate. The two-component curable adhesive includes a polyisocyanate composition (X) including a polyisocyanate compound (A) and a polyol composition (Y) including a polyol (B), in which a viscosity of the polyol composition at 50° C. is 20 mPa.Math.s or more and 180 mPa.Math.s or less.
A ONE-COMPONENT TYPE POLYURETHANE PREPOLYMER COMPOSITION
A one-component type polyurethane prepolymer composition comprises a reaction product formed through a reaction between reactants comprising (a) at least one polyisocyanate, and (b) a polyol blend comprising at least one bifunctional polyether polyol, wherein the bifunctional polyether polyol is a homopolymer of propylene oxide, homopolymer of butylene oxide, or copolymer of alkylene oxide, and has a number average molecular weight from 3000 g/mol to 9000 g/mol, and at least one trifunctional polyether polyol, wherein the trifunctional polyether polyol is a copolymer of alkylene oxide and end-capped with 10 wt % to 28 wt %, by the total weight of the trifunctional polyether polyol, of ethylene oxide, and has a number average molecular weight from 5000 g/mol to 8000 g/mol, wherein the bifunctional polyether polyol and the trifunctional polyether polyol are present in a parts by weight ratio from 4:1 to 2.5:1, and wherein the polyisocyanate and the polyol blend are present in a parts by weight ratio of from 1:7 to 1:2.5.
