SUPINE PATIENT TRANSFER PACKAGE
A patient transfer package for laterally transferring a supine patient between adjoining horizontal surfaces includes: (a) a first nonwoven sheet having a top and a bottom surface for which the coefficient of friction of the top surface is less than 50% of the coefficient of friction of the bottom surface, (b) a second nonwoven sheet that is similarly constructed as the first sheet but which is not as wide, (c) assembling these sheets into a package with the second sheet turned upside down and laid on top of the first sheet whose top surface is facing upward, (d) a specified percentage of the first sheet's side portions extends beyond the edges of the second sheet and turn upwards and over upon the bottom surface of the second sheet, and (f) a means for temporarily and releasably attaching the first sheet's edges to the bottom surface of the second sheet.
WHEELCHAIR WITH FOUR WHEEL INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION AND MODULAR SEATING
This invention provides a wheelchair with four-wheel independent suspension and modular seating, allowing for customized seat selection and a variable ride. It includes a chair assembly, a chassis assembly and a suspension assembly. The chair assembly includes a seat; a seat mount; a seat angle adjuster; and a pillar. The chassis assembly includes a chassis; and a handle assembly. The suspension assembly incudes a forward suspension assembly and a rear suspension assembly. In another embodiment, the wheelchair includes a chair assembly with handles, a main cross beam and a suspension spring assembly.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PATIENT TURNING AND REPOSITIONING
The present disclosure relates to a patient support which can be used in a bed or flat surface and in particular to a system and method for support and offloading of the body and for turning and repositioning of a patient in a bed or on a flat surface. Features of the disclosure also relate to markings and other indicators used on the patient support which help guide caregivers in the proper use and correct patient positioning on the patient support.
COIL ARRANGEMENT
A system for moving a patient into and from a medical apparatus includes a patient support arranged outside a treatment space of a medical apparatus, a treatment table arranged inside the treatment space in the medical apparatus and a patient bed movable in a longitudinal direction from the patient support to the treatment table and back by activation of a transferring mechanism. The system may further include a coil arrangement including an anterior coil and a support stand, the support stand resting on the patient bed adjacent to longitudinal edges of the patient bed and being slidable along the patient bed in a longitudinal direction when a patient is placed on the bed.
MOTORIZED WHEELCHAIR FOR IMPROVED MOBILITY
A wheelchair assembly that enables an occupant to rotate their self from the seating position to the prone or kneeling prone position so that the occupant may use their arms to better reach and grasp without the aid of another person.
Wheelchair with four wheel independent suspension and modular seating
This invention provides a wheelchair with four wheel independent suspension and modular seating, allowing for customized seat selection and a variable ride. It includes a chair assembly, a chassis assembly and a suspension assembly. The chair assembly includes a seat; a seat mount; a seat angle adjuster; and a pillar. The chassis assembly includes a chassis; and a handle assembly. The suspension assembly includes a forward suspension assembly and a rear suspension assembly. In another embodiment, the wheelchair includes a chair assembly with handles, a main cross beam and a suspension spring assembly.
Medical bed horizontal driving mechanism and medical bed horizontal driving system, and medical bed
A medical bed horizontal driving mechanism includes a bracket, a drum, an electric motor, and a position sensor. The bracket is configured to be fixedly connected to a bed frame of a medical bed. The drum is rotatably connected to the bracket. The drum is rotatable to drive a bed board of the medical bed to move relative to the bed frame. The electric motor is arranged in a cavity of the drum. A housing of the electric motor is fixedly connected to the bracket. An output shaft of the electric motor is connected to the drum to drive the drum to rotate relative to the bracket. The position sensor is arranged in the cavity of the drum. The position sensor can detect a rotational position of the drum and generate a position signal, which is used to control the electric motor.
Simplified patient transfer system
A patient transfer system includes a first bed; a second bed; a patient; a sheet having a channel; a bar; a support; means of rotation; and a belt; wherein the patient is reclined on the sheet on the first bed which is positioned next to the second bed; wherein the sheet is configured with a channel that runs along the edge of the sheet so that the bar nest in the channel; wherein the support is in removable communication with the second bed and fixed communication with the rotation device; wherein the rotation device is in removable communication with the bar so that when activated the rotation device pulls on the belt and bar causing the patient to be transferred from the first bed to the second.
Patient support apparatus
A patient support apparatus is disclosed.
ADJUSTABLE BED SYSTEMS WITH ROTATING ARTICULATING BED FRAME
A rotating and articulating bed includes a fixed bed frame with a horizontal support surface and an articulating bed member attached to the horizontal support surface. The articulating bed member includes an articulating head portion and a separate articulating foot portion. A rotating and pivoting frame mounted on the horizontal support surface and connect to the articulating head portion and the articulating foot portion rotates with respect to the horizontal support surface around a vertical axis passing through the horizontal support surface and provides pivoting movement of the articulating bed member with respect to the horizontal support surface to tilt the articulating bed member toward at least one of the articulating head portion and the articulating foot portion.
