A lift system has a back panel and a seat panel to provide a seat for a user. The back panel is slidably mounted on a support column via slider so that the back panel can be moved up and down to adjust the seat height. The seat panel can be flipped back to accommodate a user in a standing posture. With the support column, the lift system can be attached to a wheeled frame, a pole, a rotatable arm, a wall or a ceiling depending on the need of the user.

MOBILE STANDER WITH ENHANCED ADJUSTABILITY AND STORAGE

A stander device with improvements to facilitate and/or make more convenient the adjustment and/or repositioning of various elements of the stander device for sizing and comfort of a patient/user, as well as making the folding, storage, and transportation thereof more convenient.

PERSONAL LIFTING APPARATUS
20240041681 · 2024-02-08 ·

A lifting apparatus configured to autonomously traverse to a location proximate a fallen individual and provide assistance to the fallen individual so as to return the fallen individual to a standing position. The lifting apparatus of the present invention includes a movement assembly operable to provide the required directional movement to traverse to a fallen individual. The present invention includes a mapping module that provides objection detection operable to inhibit the lifting apparatus from colliding with objects during the process of traversing to a fallen individual. A vitals sign monitoring module is deployed to provide accurate detection of the fallen individual distinguishing from an inanimate object. A voice recognition module is provided and is configured to facilitate voice operation of the lifting apparatus. A lifting member is movable between a first and second position and is configured to provide support for a fallen individual.

INDOOR AND OUTDOOR MOBILITY DEVICE SYSTEM

The present invention relates to an indoor and outdoor mobility system 1 forming a mobility device 10 for people with walking disability, the system comprising a base 20 two indoor front wheels 30, which can be attached to the base 20; two outdoor front wheels 40, which can be removably attached to the base 20, wherein the outdoor front wheels 40, when attached to the base 20 comprise a wider track width compared to the indoor wheels 30; indoor back wheels 52 which can be attached to the base 20; and outdoor back wheels 62 which can be removably attached to the base 20, wherein the outdoor back wheels 62, when attached to the base 20 comprise a wider track width compared to the indoor back wheels 30. The invention further comprises a method for the change of a mobility device for people with walking disability from an indoor to an outdoor use.

Physical assistive robotic systems

A physical assistive robotic device may include a frame including an upright support member, a lateral member slidably engaged with the upright support member, a handle slidably engaged with the lateral member, an elevation actuator coupled to the upright support member and the lateral member, and a lateral actuator coupled to the lateral member and the handle. The elevation actuator translates the lateral member and the lateral actuator translates the handle to transition a user between a standing position and a non-standing position.

MOTORIZED ROBOTIC WALKER GUIDED BY AN IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR HUMAN WALKING ASSISTANCE
20190298600 · 2019-10-03 ·

A motorized robotic walker is capable of moving automatically with the user through an algorithmic process using a 3D camera image processing system. The image processing system can measure relative motion of the user versus the robotic walker and a microprocessor can generate PWM signal to drive motors of the robotic walker so that the robotic walker can follow the user's motion automatically and provide assistance if needed.

Child support structure
10426678 · 2019-10-01 ·

A support device created for children having a disability limiting their ability to stand-alone for extended periods of time, for those who are a fall risk, and for those with any physical or intellectual disability. The device has a frame that gives stability to the whole member. A seat is positioned in the middle of the frame for a child to use as a place to rest when desired, where the seat can catch the child if the child stumbles or falls. The seat is configured to be positioned below the child's torso when the child is standing as a safety support. This allows the child to stand, such as to watch TV, or stand on a movable game hoard of a video game system. The frame has a member that can be selectively removed or retracted such that the child can walk into the frame. Ankle restraints are provided and configured to attach to the child and keep the child's feet inside of the device and below the child.

APPARATUS FOR TRANSPORTING A PATIENT

An apparatus for transporting a patient. The apparatus includes a supporting portion to grasp part of the body of a patient. A footboard unit is provided upon which the patient is able to stand when supported by the supporting portion, the footboard unit movable along a floor by movable means. A frame is connected between the footboard unit and the supporting portion. The apparatus is configured so that the footboard unit is able to move in proximity to a bed upon which the patient is lying, whereat the supporting portion can grasp the part of the body of the patient, wherein the frame and the supporting portion are able to support the patient in transitioning from a lying position on the bed to a standing position adjacent the bed as the footboard unit is moved relative to the bed.

Standing assistance device and method
11986431 · 2024-05-21 ·

A standing assistance device can help a user in need of standing assistance to use their upper body weight to push down on a plunger portion of the device to provide upward lifting force to a platform. Therefore, when a user kneels on the platform and leans down on the plunger, the downward leaning force is converted into upward lifting force to help a user rise to a standing position. The plunger can take the form of a horizontal crossbar. The platform can be linked to the plunger with a gearing mechanism to transfer the downward force on the plunger to upward lifting force on the platform. The device does not need electric motors and should be easy to carry around.
