FLAME RESISTANT TEXTILE
A flame resistant textile containing a plurality of warp yarns in a warp direction of the textile interwoven with a plurality of weft yarns in the weft direction approximately perpendicular to the warp direction. The warp yarns contain inherent FR polyester yarns having between about 1500 and 3500 ppm of a phosphorous based FR chemistry and the weft yarns contain polyester yarns. the textile contains more weft yarns by weight than warp yarns and wherein the FR textile contain about 1500 ppm or less of the phosphorous based FR chemistry.
FOLDED FABRIC CRUSHING MACHINE
A folded fabric crushing machine that makes it possible to produce curtain fabric, which is used in the production of multi-layered woven curtains used by connecting on fixed, movable or folding windows, doors and glass balconies, produced by multi-layered fabric weaving technique, without using adhesive material.
Textile materials containing dyed polyphenylene sulfide fibers and methods for producing the same
A textile material comprises a plurality of yarns, wherein the yarns contain an intimate blend of dyed polyphenylene sulfide fibers and cellulosic fibers. The dyed polyphenylene sulfide fibers comprise a disperse dye that is distributed substantially evenly across the cross-sectional area of the fibers. A method for dyeing textile materials containing polyphenylene sulfide fibers comprises the steps of (a) providing a textile material comprising yarns which contain an intimate blend of polyphenylene sulfide fibers and cellulosic fibers, (b) providing a dye liquor comprising a liquid medium and a disperse dye, (c) applying the dye liquor to the textile material, (d) heating the textile material under ambient atmosphere to a temperature sufficient to evaporate substantially all of the liquid medium from the textile material, and (e) heating the textile material under ambient atmosphere to a temperature of about 180? C. or more to fix the disperse dye to the polyphenylene sulfide fibers.
UNIDIRECTIONAL SIGHT-TRANSMISSION FABRIC AND UNIDIRECTIONAL SIGHT-TRANSMISSION CURTAIN
A unidirectional sight-transmission fabric includes a base cloth interwoven via a warp thread and a weft thread. The warp thread is a flat aluminum thread. The weft thread is a polyester yarn or a polyester filament. The base cloth is woven by the warp thread and the weft thread in a plain weave. Adjacent two of the warp threads and adjacent two of the weft thread enclose a light-transmission sight-transmission hole. A unidirectional sight-transmission curtain is also disclosed.
HEAT INSULATION FABRIC AND HEAT INSULATION CURTAIN
A heat insulation fabric includes a base cloth interwoven via a warp thread and a weft thread. The warp thread is a flat aluminized polyester continuous filament. The weft thread is a polyester yarn or a polyester filament, and the base cloth is woven by the warp thread and the weft thread in a satin weave or a twill weave. A heat insulation curtain is also disclosed.
Blackout Material
A blackout material is provided and includes a woven fabric including a weft set and a warp set, the weft set being black. More than 50% of a first surface of the woven fabric comprises the warp set. The blackout material further comprises a light excluding coating on the outer surface of the woven fabric, the light excluding coating including at least one black layer. A method of making a blackout material is provided and includes weaving a woven fabric including a weft set and a warp set, the weft set being black. More than 50% of a first surface of the woven fabric comprises the warp set. The method further comprises applying a light excluding coating on the outer surface of the woven fabric.
APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING A PLEATED CURTAIN
A device for manufacturing a pleated curtain includes elongate pleating means for forming a first fold in the curtain by folding the curtain around a long side of the pleating means along a fold line, clamping means for clamping a pleat portion of the curtain on either side of the first fold along a clamping line parallel to the fold line such that the pleat portion forms a loop, and control means for controlling the pleating means and the clamping means. The control means move the pleating means and/or clamping means such that the pleating means are arranged from a position inside the loop to a position adjacent the loop, while the clamping means clamp the pleat portion, such that a remaining portion of the curtain is folded round an outer end of the clamping means and a second fold is formed adjacently of and parallel to the first fold.
Cloth and textile product
An object of the invention is to provide a cloth having water absorbency, water repellency, and a tendency to float on water, and also a textile product using the cloth. A means of resolution is to obtain a cloth using a fiber A that is not water repellent and a fiber B that is water repellent in a weight ratio (fiber A:fiber B) within a range of 50:50 to 87:13.
Insulating sheer fabric
Fabrics which allow for light transmission and provide thermal insulation are described. A fabric is formed from at least one yarn to form a continuous web of fabric. The continuous web is configured to allow between 20% and 65% of incident light to be transmitted through the fabric, and to reduce heat transfer through the fabric such that the fabric has an R value of at least 0.75 K.Math.m.sup.2/W. The continuous web of fabric may be a woven fabric where the at least one yarn is woven to form the woven fabric.
COMPOSITION FOR IMPROVING COGNITIVE ABILITY OR MEMORY ABILITY, CONTAINING FERMENTED PERILLA FRUTESCENS EXTRACT, AND USE THEREOF
The present invention relates to a composition, a fiber or a fragrance composition for improving cognitive ability or memory ability, containing a fermented Perilla frutescens extract. In addition, the present invention relates to a composition for preventing, alleviating or treating cognitive ability- or memory ability-related diseases, containing a fermented Perilla frutescens extract. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for treating cognitive ability- or memory ability-related diseases, comprising a step of administering a fermented Perilla frutescens extract to a patient with a cognitive ability- or memory ability-related disease. Compared to an unfermented Perilla frutescens extract, a fermented Perilla frutescens extract of the present invention significantly increases cognitive ability or memory ability, thereby being effectively usable as a composition for improving cognitive ability or memory ability. Moreover, a fermented Perilla frutescens extract of the present invention can be effectively used in a composition for preventing, alleviating or treating cognitive ability- or memory ability-related diseases, or in a treatment method.
