A method for processing a waste fabric containing polyester and cotton fibers includes the following steps. The first step is providing a plurality of fabric scraps each containing polyester fibers and cotton fibers. The next step is allowing an acid catalyst aqueous solution to repeatedly contact and react with the fabric scraps at 130° C. to 160° C. in a circulation and backflow manner, so as to separate the cotton fibers from each of the fabric scraps. The last step is recycling the reacted acid catalyst aqueous solution and fabric scraps.

Saw gin stand seed roll monitoring feature

A system and method includes a seed roll of a saw type gin stand which can easily be inspected in an efficient and safe manner within the normal course of operation. The monitoring of the seed roll is desirable for prediction of irregularities that could significantly hamper the production of a ginning facility. This monitoring can take place by manual inspection with the eye or touch of the operator. In addition, this feature will facilitate the opportunity to introduce a new automatic process by which the control system can monitor the seed roll in order to improve overall productivity of the gin stand.

The oxidizing system can include an aqueous mixture of a N-oxyl compound and a hypochlorite compound. During oxidation, the p11 of the aqueous mixture can be maintained at from 8.5 to 11. Cellulose products can be formed from the cellulose materials. For example, the cellulose products can be used to form a packaging material, a biomedical device or implant, a drug delivery material, a fiber, a textile material, a template for electronic components, or a separation membrane. Methods of making the cellulose product include dissolving or suspending an active ingredient in a medium comprising the cellulose material.
