METHOD FOR PRODUCING SPUNBONDED FABRIC
20230130447 · 2023-04-27 ·

A process for the production of spunbonded nonwoven (1) is shown, wherein a spinning mass (2) is extruded through a plurality of nozzle holes (4) of at least one spinneret (3, 40, 50) to form filaments (5) and the filaments (5) are drawn, in each case, in the extrusion direction, wherein the filaments (5) are deposited on a perforated conveying device (10) to form a spunbonded nonwoven (1) and wherein the nozzle holes (4) of the spinneret (3, 40, 50) are arranged along a main axis (6) oriented in a transverse direction (12) to the conveying direction (11) of the conveying device (10) so that the spunbonded nonwoven (1) formed on the conveying device (10) extends in this transverse direction (12). So as to enable the spinning width and the basis weight distribution of the spunbonded nonwoven to be adjusted reliably and, respectively, to allow the basis weight distribution to be kept constant during operation by means of the process, it is suggested that the spinning mass throughput (31) of the nozzle holes (4) is adjusted variably along the transverse direction (12).

COTTON KNITTED FABRIC WITH ANTIBACTERIAL, DEODORIZING AND ANTI-MOLD FUNCTIONS
20230122615 · 2023-04-20 ·

The present disclosure provides a cotton knitted fabric with antibacterial, deodorizing and anti-mold functions. The cotton knitted fabric has identical pattern on both sides thereof, and includes several knitting weaves knitted by cotton yarns prepared from CotSolution cotton, each knitting weave includes eight feeds, each feed includes four loops, and the four loops includes two dial knitting loops and two needle cylinder knitting loops. The present disclosure adopts a structure with identical patterns on both sides, the limitation caused by different face and the back sides can be removed, the use is more flexible, and the cotton yarns made of CotSolution cotton are knitted according to the structure of eight feeds and four loops, thus better playing the antibacterial, deodorizing and anti-mold functions.

TEXTILE RECYCLING
20230069369 · 2023-03-02 · ·

A textile recycling method receives textile-waste-to-be-recycled, sorts the waste to isolate cellulose-containing articles from non-cellulose-containing articles, and re-sizes at least some of the cellulose-containing articles to create feedstock. The feedstock is processed in a cellulose solvent reactor, which has at least one ionic liquid. The ionic liquid dissolves intermolecular cellulose bonds of the feedstock to create a spinning dope. Cellulose fibers dissolved in the cellulose-bearing spinning dope solution are extruded in a cellulose coagulation bath reservoir to reconstitute at least some of the cellulose fibers, and the reconstituted fibers are wet-spun to form a continuous cellulose thread that is commercially indistinguishable from virgin fiber thread. Synthetic fiber material is vacuum-extracted or mechanically extracted from the cellulose-bearing solution and recycled into a continuous synthetic thread. Original color of textile-waste-to-be-recycled can be retained or removed, and new color can be added.

MATERIALS, INCLUDING NONWOVEN MATERIALS, AND METHODS THEREOF

Some aspects of the present disclosure generally relates to materials such as nonwoven materials, e.g., comprising fibers. Some examples of fibers include polyester, rayon, polyethylene terephthalate, polyvinyl acetate, etc. In some embodiments, the material may be functionalized in some manner. For example, a hydrophilic polymer such as polyethylene oxide may be bonded to at least some of the fibers and/or to itself. In some cases, the hydrophilic polymer may be substantially uniformly bonded to the fibers. In some cases, the functionalized material may be relatively permeable, which may allow fluids to flow therethrough. For example, the material may have a relatively high permeability to air, e.g., of at least 5 ft.sup.3/min/ft.sup.2. Other aspects are generally directed to methods of making or using such materials, kits including such materials, etc.

A METHOD OF PREPARING DOPE DYED LYOCELL FIBRE

A process for obtaining a dope dyed lyocell fibre can include the steps of (a) mixing one or more pigment with an aqueous organic solvent to obtain a slurry; (b) applying vacuum to said slurry to remove excess water content to obtain a masterbatch (c) mixing the masterbatch obtained in step (b) to a lyocell dope to obtain a pigmented dope; and (d) extruding said pigmented dope of step (c) through a spinneret to form dope dyed lyocell fiber.
