Conveying apparatus
The invention relates to a transporting apparatus for transporting people, characterized by at least one structure-borne-sound-transmission region, which is acted on directly or indirectly by a structure-borne-sound transducer which is intended to generate vibrations which, when the structure-borne-sound-transmission region is touched by a person, are transmitted as structure-borne sound via the person's body and are audible to the person.
Unique roadworthy sidewalk boom trailer, having on-site interchangeable boom, on-site interchangeable ladder, and on-site interchangeable catwalk sized to access narrow openings and nooks over and under bridges
A unique roadworthy boom trailer comprises a roadworthy wheeled chassis, four independently-adjustable trailer-leveling motorized legs attached to the bottom of the chassis, pneumatic-tool compressor built in the chassis, turret assembly attached to the top of the chassis, and on-site-extendable-interchangeable quick-release assemblies of boom, ladder, and catwalk rotatably attached to the turret assembly. The ladder assembly has safety rungs for safety cables to be hooked thereon. The catwalk assembly has adjustable telescopic safety handrails. The unique roadworthy boom trailer can work with suspension-cable-or-truss-type bridges, low-or-high-power-line bridges, short-or-tall-supporting-column bridges, single-or-multiple-lane bridges, and regular-or-rail-road bridges. The catwalk assembly can have multiple additional catwalk assemblies attached thereto to extend its width or length to generally equal the width or length of a bridge, respectively. The catwalk assembly is sized to operate entirely within the width of a sidewalk, and to lift and shift equipment and personnel through narrow openings or into nooks both over and under bridges.
Bridge maintenance vehicle with hinge-connected type hanging bracket and capable of avoiding bridge-side obstacles
A bridge maintenance vehicle with a hinge-connected hanging bracket for avoiding bridge-side obstacles comprises an unwheeling and a suspension arm. The unwheeling comprises a vehicle frame chassis. The suspension arm is a C-shaped hanging bracket. The vehicle frame chassis is connected to a lower end of a strut in a hinged manner through a longitudinal shaft hinge and a longitudinal shaft. A protruding end of a lower cross beam of the C-shaped hanging bracket is provided with at least a fixing point for a lifting rope or a lifting rope winding/unwinding device. A vehicle frame stringer is fixed at an upper end of the strut. A hanging bracket longitudinal beam is fixed at an upper end of a vertical rod of the C-shaped hanging bracket. The hanging bracket longitudinal beam and the vehicle frame stringer are movably connected with each other into a whole through at least two cross beams.

Access structure integration assembly and integrated access systems and methods of using the same
The invention includes an access structure integration assembly and an integrated system using the assembly. An access structure integrated assembly includes at least one channeled structure and at least one joist socket slidingly engaged with the channeled structure. The channeled structure is configured to secure to a base structure, such as a suspended work platform system, and the joist socket is configured to secure to a second structure, such as a supported work platform system. An integrated system includes a base structure, a second structure and at least two integration assemblies, each assembly including a channeled structure secured to the base structure and a joist socket secured to the second structure and slidingly engaged with the channeled structure.
GANGPLANK SAFETY DEPLOYMENT SYSTEM
A safety netting assembly for a gangplank; the gangplank being deployable between a vessel and a quay; the assembly includes stanchions pivotally connected with railings at an upper end and pivotally interconnected with a beam structure of the gangplank at a lower end; the railings being movable between a stowed position in which the railings are located adjacent to a surface of the gangplank, and a deployed position in which the railings are located at a distance vertically above the gangplank surface, and safety netting.
Scaffold Assembly And Method Of Use
A scaffold assembly for safely finishing web walls includes a framework, which comprises a pair of posts that is attached to which extends substantially perpendicularly between bottom and top beams. The bottom beam can be positioned between adjacent columns of a structure under construction, with opposed ends of the bottom beam reversibly engaging the adjacent columns. Extensions of the top beam are positioned atop the adjacent columns so that the framework is supported by the adjacent columns and is spaced apart from a workpiece that extends between the adjacent columns, such as a web wall. A plate, which is attached to the bottom beam and which extends substantially perpendicularly from the framework toward the workpiece, provides a platform for a user to sit or stand upon to manipulate the workpiece. The top beam prevents the user from falling from the platform.
Suspended scaffolding system
A suspended scaffolding system (100) including a connector system (32,33) adapted to engage a track (31) which in use is in contact with the surface of a structure (30), an arm (34, 39) connects the suspended scaffolding system to the connector system, so in use the suspended scaffolding system is suspended below the structure. In a first embodiment, the connector system has connectors that permit relative movement with respect to the track in two orthogonal planes. In a second embodiment a moveable counterweight (37) is provided on the suspended scaffolding system, adapted to be displaced from a first position to a second position to change the center of gravity of the suspended scaffolding system. In a third embodiment, a track connector system is provided comprising at least three fasteners each of which is in contact with the track and adapted to be temporarily removed from the track to permit the suspended scaffolding system to negotiate obstacles.
BRIDGE CAP AND FASTENING UNIT FOR FASTENING A BRIDGE CAP
A bridge cap which for fastening to a bridge has a fastening unit with a fastener and with a guide device that includes a cylindrical anchor sleeve. This invention also relates to a fastening unit for fastening a bridge cap. A low production and assembly cost is achieved in that the fastening unit is composed of separate individual parts, which in addition to the anchor sleeve, include a separate transition piece that has a first cylindrical section adapted to the diameter of the anchor sleeve and a second cylindrical section oriented away from the first and oriented toward an outside of the bridge cap.
Prefabricated bridge
Bridge including a bridge deck extending in a bridge direction or longitudinal direction of the bridge, and two prefab bridge railings situated on the longitudinal side of the bridge deck, wherein the bridge deck is substantially formed by one or more slabs spanning the bridge width, wherein the bridge railing includes a lower girder provided with a bearing, particularly a bearing edge, for a longitudinal edge strip of the bridge deck.
