A COUPLING SYSTEM, AN ASSEMBLY OF A VESSEL AND A COUPLING SYSTEM, AND AN ASSEMBLY OF A COUPLING SYSTEM, JACKET PILE AND FOUNDATION PILE
A coupling system to be temporarily coupled to at least one of a jacket pile and a foundation pile comprises an upper fixation member, a lower fixation member and a lifting device for moving the upper and lower fixation members with respect to each other. The coupling system is provided with at least one of a grout transfer line for guiding grout from a grout supply to a space between a jacket pile and a foundation pile upon installing the jacket pile to the foundation pile, and a cleaning device for cleaning the inner and/or outer side of a foundation pile, and a separating device for separating a jacket pile from a foundation pile upon de-installing the jacket pile with respect to the foundation pile, and a measurement device for determining parameters of a jacket pile and/or a foundation pile.
Temporarily coupling between jacket and pile
A coupling system for temporarily coupling a jacket with a foundation pile includes a first flange for mounting with the jacket, a second flange for contacting the foundation pile, and an inflatable spacing member arranged between the first flange and second flange. The inflatable spacing member contacts both the first flange and second flange for supporting the jacket through the spacing member.
Foundation treatment method for piling foundation structure by penetrating hardpan layer
A foundation treatment method for piling a foundation structure by penetrating a hardpan layer, i.e., a Deep Slurry Mixing method, comprising following steps: disturbing, by a mechanical device, a location where the foundation structure is to be piled, so that the mechanical device penetrates the hardpan layer of a natural foundation; then injecting clay slurry into the hardpan layer of the natural foundation by a pumping device, an improved foundation is formed after mixing; and piling the foundation structure. The method can change soil property of the original natural foundation, break the hardpan layer, reduce piling resistance of the steel plate cylinder or similar foundation structure, reduce uneven force during the piling process and improve driveability.
OFFSHORE STRUCTURE
An offshore structure having a foundation structure, wherein the foundation structure has at least a first and a second profile, the first profile is designed as a pile and the second profile is designed as a pile sleeve, the second profile encloses the first profile over a penetration length, wherein an interspace is formed between the first and the second profile, the interspace has a casting compound filling over the total penetration length, shear elements are provided on the first and/or the second profile, the shear elements extend into the interspace and effect an axial load dissipation into the casting compound filling, the shear elements are provided only over a first partial length of the penetration length, the first partial length is between 65 and 90% of the total penetration length and a second partial length is free of shear elements, wherein the second partial length forms the upper length of the penetration length in the installed position.
Post-grouting method for immersed tube joint base
The present application relates to the field of immersed tube jointing, and more particularly relates to a post-grouting method for an immersed tube joint base. The post-grouting method includes the following steps: before locked backfilling of immersed tubes to be implanted, disposing a grouting tube capable of outputting solidifiable slurry in a furrow below immersed tubes; and after the locked backfilling, grouting the immersed tubes by using the grouting tube. For the purposes of adjusting postures and heights of the immersed tubes in case of abnormal settlement during installation, solving the problems on the stabilities and the service lives of immersed tube joints due to settlement of gravel mattresses or a geologic structure thereunder after installation, and enabling the immersed tubes to achieve a better bearing effect on a load during use, the present application provides the post-grouting method for the immersed tube joint base.
Method of Manufacturing a Connection Between Two Tube Segments of a Tower-Like Structure
Method for manufacturing a connection between two tube segments of a tower-like structure, in particular a wind power plant, in which a first tube segment is pushed into a second tube segment at the end face and an annular space is formed between the tube segments, two at least partially circumferential joining elements spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction of the tube segments are arranged in the annular space, the joining elements being arranged on an outer wall and/or on an inner wall of one of the tube segments, the tube segments are coupled together via the joining elements, and a mechanical parameter of the mechanical coupling between the tube segments is detected via at least one sensor on at least one of the tube segments, the annular gap being filled with casting compound after initial installation of the structure based on the mechanical parameter.
Subsea gap self-reducing grout seal
A general purpose passive annular grout seal assembly is disclosed which is suitable both for offshore jacket installations with regular annular gap sizes and for offshore wind turbine structure installations with an extraordinarily large annular gap of any sizes. Grout self-sealing operation during grouting is conducted in two steps: 1) a gap reducing action enabled by a gravity differential pressure force induced tilting of a plurality of flip plates, and 2) a gravity differential pressure force induced sealing action for the remaining small gaps. This disclosed new type of grout seal can not only enhance grout seals' overall system reliability by eliminating all potential sources for harmful results known to the offshore industry, but also significantly reduce costs for fabrication, transportation, and installation of grout seals.
System and method for levelling and gripping a jacket leg into a hollow foundation pile
A system for levelling and gripping a jacket leg into a hollow foundation pile has a levelling assembly for adjusting the longitudinal axis of a jacket leg partially inserted in a hollow foundation pile with an actuation group arranged about the jacket leg and configured to exert a force parallel to the longitudinal axis between the upper edge of the hollow foundation pile and the jacket leg and selectively attachable to the jacket leg and recoverable for further use in another levelling assembly; and a gripping assembly for locking the jacket leg in a designated position with respect to the hollow foundation pile once leveled.
