The present invention relates to a wall structure cutting wire saw. The wire saw includes a master saw unit 12 with master rail elements 35 adapted to run on a first set of tracks 7. The master saw unit 12 includes a wire drive motor 18, a wire magazine 17 accommodating a portion of a of cutting wire 15 in a cutting wire loop, and a saw drive 11 adapted to drive the master saw unit 12 along the first set of tracks 7. The master saw unit also includes a wire tension actuator. A slave unit 13 with at least one slave wire return wheel 23 and slave rail elements 36 is adapted to run on a second set of rails 8. The invention further includes a first set of rails adapted to be secured to a first side of the wall structure; and a second set of rails adapted to be secured to a second side of the wall structure 33. The wall structure 33 may form a wall of a GBS leg.

A method includes mounting a lower platform block (300) to a plurality of piles (215) positioned on a surface. The lower platform block includes a first frame (315), a plurality of docking assemblies (305) connected to the first frame and engaging the piles, and a plurality of conductor tubes (310) connected to the first frame to a plurality of piles. The docking assemblies are released from the piles to separate the lower platform block from the piles.

Subsea assembly modularisation

A subsea assembly including; a foundation, a support device; and a subsea equipment adapter frame is provided. The foundation, support device and subsea equipment adapter frame are separate modular components that can be installed separately. The foundation may be a suction anchor. A method of installing and uninstalling the subsea assembly is also provided.

A foundation for a subsea assembly is provided. The foundation comprises connection points. The connection points permit other components to be connected to the suction anchor and permit loads to transfer from the component connected to the connection points into the foundation. The assembly includes a tapping tool connectable to the tubular via a saddle connection and an adjustable tapping clamp with adjustable support/locking feet, compression plate with view ports, and angularly adjustable hot tapping system, along with a drill/saw system.

A top deck of a fixed offshore platform installed on a mudline of a body of water is removed. An upper structure of the fixed offshore platform is removed. The upper structure is below the top deck. A lower structure is secured to the mudline by one or more structural piles remaining. The one or more structural piles, which are housed within one or more members of the lower structure, are driven below the mudline. The lower structure of the fixe offshore platform is removed. The one or more structural piles are left below the mudline.

In some embodiments, the apparatus also includes a cutting module coupled to the shaft module, the cutting module including a second cavity configured to receive the pile, clamps configured to clamp onto the pile, and a saw configured to cut the pile. In some embodiments, the apparatus also includes a drilling module coupled to the cutting module, the drilling module including blades to burrow into an earth surface.
