A striking tool having a base element and a striking element configured to engage with a formwork panel. The striking tool has a plurality of struts, wherein the base element, the striking element, and the plurality of struts define a parallelogram configuration and an actuation mechanism configured to cause relative motion between the base element and the striking element.

FORMWORK CORE FOR A FORMWORK SYSTEM FOR CASTING A BELL-SHAPED BODY

A formwork core for a formwork system for concreting a bell body including a base frame and two corner supports detachably fastened at a variable distance. The corner supports each bear two corner connection panels, which are arranged at a right angle to each other around the corner and can be synchronously retracted and extended without touching each other. The corner supports also bear corner angle pieces, which likewise can be retracted and extended and, in the completely extended state, close the gap between the two associated corner connection panels in order to form a vertical outer shell of the formwork core. The vertical edges of the corner connection panels, which vertical edges are distant from the corner, have screw flanges facing inward. Optionally, at least one side formwork panel can be inserted between the corner connection panels one side.

A forming system includes a frame and two forming walls. The two forming walls are positioned at a distance from each other to define a first vertical wall course. One forming wall is supported by the frame such that the one forming wall can be translated toward or away from the respective other forming wall. The frame can be raised to raise the two forming walls to be positioned to pour a second vertical course on top of the first vertical course. The translation of the one forming wall allows for the pouring of the first vertical course with horizontally extending rebar that extends through the one forming wall outside of the first vertical wall course, to tie in to a subsequently poured floor slab. The translation permits the vertical raising of the one forming wall, without striking the extending rebar, to pour the second vertical course on the first vertical course. A worker's platform is provided that is supported by the frame and vertically movable by raising the frame. The worker's platform is located below the one forming wall on a side of the one forming wall opposite the respective other forming wall and is retractable to also clear the extending rebar during raising of the frame.

Wall-climbing concrete form lifting system

A self-climbing concrete wall form hoist for forming a concrete wall section atop a previously formed wall section has a wall mounting releasably secured to the previously formed wall section, a plurality of moveable vertical masts, an extendable cylinder inside each mast, and a platform alternatively supported on the masts, which in turn are supported alternatively on the upper and lower wall mountings. The apparatus cycles between a platform raising position when the masts and platform are supported on the upper wall mounting and a lower wall mounting raising position when the masts and platform are supported on the upper wall mounting. The extendable cylinders are extended to raise the mast and platform relative to the lower wall mounting when the masts are supported on the upper wall mounting, and the extendable cylinders are retracted when raising the lower wall mounting relative to the platform when the masts and platform are supported on the upper wall mounting. The self-climbing concrete wall form hoist can descend a wall by effectively reversing the steps required to complete wall climbing.

A building construction method uses wall frames having a moveable top track. The track is fixed in a raised position so as to be load-bearing during construction, allowing construction work to progress quickly. When supporting concrete columns have cured, the fixing can be released allowing the track to move into a lowered position and for the building load to transfer to the columns.
