Method of Creating and Executing a Plan
A plan structure and its applications in the upstream oil and gas industry are disclosed. The plan defines logical, sequential and conditional interrelationships between events in the plan, so that a controller can carry out the plan in a flexible and time-independent manner to complete the sequenced events. The definition of the logical, sequential and conditional interdependencies permits flexibility in how the controller uses the time and resources available to it so that the plan directs the controller in a non-prescriptive manner, allowing greater flexibility in plan execution and reducing the necessity for re-planning to occur when changes in the world or environment in which the controller executes the plan are detected.

Crane system for a cantilever
A crane system is for a cantilever belonging to a jack-up rig. The crane system has a crane with a suspension member, the suspension member being arranged over the crane. A skid beam is attached to a lower portion of the cantilever, the skid beam being displaceably connected to a plurality of slides arranged on the jack-up rig, the crane hanging on the skid beam. A method is for using the crane system.
PIPE STORAGE AND HANDLING
A system for storing and handling pipes between a pipe rack and a derrick includes pipe-receiving chambers that are positioned around a centre region, and an elevator for lifting and descending the pipes into the chambers. The elevator, located in the centre region in between the receiving chambers, is configured for selecting one of the receiving chambers and for lifting and descending a respective pipe into the selected chamber.
System and method for washing and doping oilfield tubulars
A washing and doping mechanism includes a bushing that is configured to engage a tubular that is in a substantially vertical orientation. The bushing is configured to rotate, thereby causing the tubular to rotate about a central longitudinal axis of the tubular. The washing and doping mechanism also includes a sprayer configured to spray a fluid onto the tubular in the substantially vertical orientation.

Pipe handler
A pipe handler trailer assists with the handling of very large and heavy pipes that are regularly raised to and lowered from an elevated surfaces. A height adjustment assembly sets the maximum height that a skidway will reach when a lift cylinder is fully extended and lift arms are thereby rotated. Located within lift arms are toothed racks. An adjustment block couples the skidway to lift arms through the racks and also supports locking blocks that have teeth complementary to the teeth on the racks. A lock will vary from firm contact with the inner wall of lift arms to having a gap there between. When the lock engages the inner wall of the lift arm this drives the complementary teeth into secure engagement with the rack teeth, which can then rigidly support heavy load without motion.

System and method for disassembling drill assemblies
A system for disassembling a drill assembly including a drill bit and one or more columns interlinked with each other. The system includes a first clamping mechanism adapted to engage one of the drill bit or a first column, and a second clamping mechanism adapted to engage a second column disposed successively to the drill bit or the first column. The second clamping mechanism is turned relative to the first clamping mechanism to at least partially delink the second column from the first column or the drill bit. The system further includes a first actuator adapted to move one of the first clamping mechanism or the second clamping mechanism relative to the other to define a gap therebetween to reveal an interface between the second column and the drill bit or the first column for delinking the second column relative to the drill bit or the first column.
System and method for conducting subterranean operations
A tubular handling system for conducting subterranean operations is disclosed and can include a first tubular handling system and a second tubular handling system. The first tubular handling system can include a bridge disposed within a tubular storage area, an arm pivotally coupled to the bridge, and a gripper coupled to the arm and adapted to engage with a tubular in the tubular storage area. The second tubular handling system can include a support structure, a first tubular handler coupled to the support structure, and a second tubular handler coupled to the support structure and distinct from the first tubular handling system.
