A SYSTEM FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SPILLS PROTECTION
20190257068 · 2019-08-22 ·

The present invention relates to a system and method for containing environmental spills at a zone, for example at a port or rail facility, in order to prevent nm-off water from contaminating the environment. The system and method relates to a water parameter sensor system which is compared to stored contaminants to establish the nature of the contaminant. The system and method further relates to the comparison of the identified contaminant to a manifest database to be able to establish where a spill or leakage may be found.

MODULE AND METHOD FOR MANAGING WATER AND OTHER FLUIDS
20190234059 · 2019-08-01 ·

A method for managing the flow of water beneath a ground surface uses modules. Assemblies of such modules are disclosed. The modules include supports and a deck portion, and the supports are spaced apart and form multiple channels with a main section of the deck portion. The deck portion also includes at least one section extending from a main section.

FOLDABLE AND REMOVABLE PARTITION ASSEMBLY FOR SEPTIC TANK

A foldable and removable partition assembly having both a collapsed configuration, which enables storage and transport of the foldable and removable partition assembly, and an expanded configuration which enables installation and use of the foldable and removable partition assembly within a septic tank. The foldable and removable partition assembly includes a framework that supports first and second partially overlapped baffles that form part of a sludge chamber of the septic tank.

Crossflow setting devices and methods of use

A stormwater treatment device may include a crossflow settling device having a treatment channel defined by a front baffle, a rear baffle, and a pair of angled plates provided at supplementary angles therebetween and disposed between the front baffle and the rear baffle, the front baffle having a treatment channel opening and the rear baffle having a treatment channel outlet. Under normal flow, stormwater flows into the inlet and into the inlet chamber, into the treatment channel via the treatment channel opening, into the outlet chamber via the treatment channel outlet in a crossflow pattern causing the sediment to fall out of suspension, and out of the crossflow settling device through openings at the bottom of the pairs of angled plates.

Rain overflow basin for collecting and storing water

A rain overflow basin for collecting and storing rainwater, mixed water, or wastewater, has an inflow, an outflow, a basin chamber, a basin spillway, which is equipped with a weir threshold and is connected downstream of the basin chamber. A drain discharges the basin spillway, and a purification device purifies water flowing from the basin chamber to the basin spillway. A retention wall between the basin chamber and the basin spillway dams up water accumulating in the basin chamber. Water draining from the basin chamber is dammed up in a storage space is between the retention wall and the weir threshold, to reach the basin spillway via the weir threshold. The retention wall includes a passage opening. A purification device extends into the basin chamber such that water draining from the basin chamber through the passage opening into the storage space flows through the retention element.

Stormwater vault apparatus and method

A stormwater vault and a process for servicing the stormwater vault speeds the process of cleaning the stormwater vault. The stormwater vault has a built in liquefaction system for liquefying settled debris in the vault which works together with a sloped or angled floor in the vault and vertical debris cutting spray nozzles. The settled debris is flushed toward the inlet to a vacuum removal line inserted into the vault through an access opening for removing the settled debris from the vault while compacted debris is collapsed by vertically extending water nozzles.

Inline bioremediation liquid treatment system

A liquid treatment system is provided having a vault that contains a treatment chamber and an outflow chamber. The treatment chamber may have a filtration media layer containing media that treats liquid as it descends through the filtration media layer, where it will accumulate in a porous layer or open space. The liquid will then be directed through the plurality of pipes to the outflow chamber, where the treated liquid is further directed to outside the system. Accumulated debris settled at the bottom of the treatment chamber may be flushed out by a spray bar.

Some embodiments are directed to a tunnel device for use in single pass sand filtration (SPSF) systems, including curved lateral walls which meet at an apex channel having a flat top, an open bottom, and side vented walls. The interaction between the characterizing components and vertically streamed treated wastewater from a pressurized pipe results in the maximized lateral transport of the treated wastewater towards the side vented walls and the adjacent soil strata therethrough which contains aerobic microbial communities able to decompose organic wastewater material thereby delivering enhanced wastewater treatment and water volume reductions through evapotranspiration.
