Multiple upright frames are located at four corners of a combination of the base frame sets and the top frame sets. Multiple separators are respectively connected between any two of the upright frames. Multiple linings are assembled between any of the two upright frames, and each lining is located corresponding to the inside of each of the separators. Multiple outer plates are assembled between any of the two upright frames, and each outer plate is located relative to the outside of each of the separators. A door plate assembly is installed between the base frame set and the top frame set.

ASSEMBLED HOUSE

An assembled house has a house framework, a roof framework, wall panels and a roof panel. The house framework has multiple beams, columns, and connectors. The roof framework has multiple rafters. Each one of the connectors is mounted securely in the column, and has multiple screw sleeves mounted securely in a concrete body. Thus, the beam can be connected securely to the column by screws screwed into the screw sleeve of the connector. Welding is not required for assembling the house framework on the site of the assembled house, thereby effectively accelerating the assembling. In addition, the beams and the columns are connected without welding, which eliminates the problem that the welded portions may easily rust. Furthermore, the columns, rafters, and the beams are hollow tubes, which can effectively lower the weight of the whole assembled house.

SHAPE-MORPHING SPACE FRAME APPARATUS USING UNIT CELL BISTABLE ELEMENTS

Unit cell bistable elements, and particular arrangements thereof, that can transform or morph a structure from one shape to another. In certain embodiments, the current invention includes unit cell bistable elements, and particular arrangements and uses thereof, that can transform or morph a structure from one shape to another. In an embodiment, the current invention provides a method/ability to transform any four-bar compliant mechanism into a bistable compliant mechanism. It is an object of the current invention to facilitate structures morphing from one specific shape to another specific shape using unit cell bistable elements.

TELESCOPIC STRUCTURAL SYSTEMS AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD

A telescoping barrier assembly provides interlocking modules coupled together so as to slide vertically with respect to the other. The modules telescopically extend to a deployed position to form a barrier that withstands inertial and the external forces, and then retracts to a collapsed position. The modules include a base module and a plurality of deployable modules that are arranged in a nested configuration, such that each module slides in and out of an adjacent module. The base module has a mounting portion that may be subterranean. A lifting mechanism applies an axial force to the deployable modules to enable displacement between the operational and collapsed position. Spring biased lateral support members help the deployable modules remain in the extended position and a pulley system helps displace the modules to the collapsed position. An inner and outer seal inhibit liquid leakage between the module and between multiple adjacent assemblies.

WATERPROOF STORAGE UNIT

A storage unit which is substantially water proof is provided. The storage unit may comprise a shell having lower edges which mate into a groove formed in a top surface of a base to provide a substantially waterproof barrier therebetween. The junction between the lower edge of the side walls and the first groove may be sealed with a water proof sealant. A front side wall of the shell may have an aperture therethrough to allow users to move items into and out of the storage unit. A door may be attached to the storage unit to prevent water from entering into the storage unit through the aperture. Moreover, a lower edge of the door body may be inserted into a second groove formed in the top surface of the base to prevent water from entering into the storage unit from under the door.

SYSTEMS, METHODS, APPARATUS, AND COMPOSITIONS FOR BUILDING MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION

A structural insulated building unit is provided for constructing a building. The structural insulated building unit includes an insulating core, first and second cementitious panels, and a connecting portion. The insulating core is defined by multiple sides and opposing first and second faces. The first and second cementitious panels are coupled to the first and second faces of the insulating core. The connecting portion is provided on one of the sides of the insulating core, and aligns the structural insulated building unit with an adjacent structural insulated building unit having a complementary connecting portion when constructing a building.

Collapsible truss

A collapsible truss and method that is particularly suitable for staging and lighting, for shows, performances and other events. This evolved and novel modular truss can be collapsed to a significantly smaller size (i.e. increased density), and consequently requires significantly less space for storage and transportation. Further, in addition to the advantage of rapid assembly from collapsed parts to a full truss, the modular construction of the truss provides cost effective repair of this truss over traditional rigid welded trusses by simple replacement of damaged parts.

A modular building system that is all-inclusive for completing a structural project from the foundation up using unskilled labor is provided. The modular building system includes a plurality of modular sections, each modular section formed from the interconnection of floor, wall, roof, and arch panel components, wherein all panel component interconnections are brought to a locking engagement by way of the same interlocking tabs and rails assembly, so that an unskilled laborer may complete a complete structural project interconnecting various types of modular building sections.

A portable housing system is provided that transmits forces through a plurality of walls. The walls may be arrayed about a central axis. A tension cable is wrapped around top ends of the walls, and anchor cables are interconnected to bottom ends of the walls. This cabling system transmits lateral forces through the walls towards the central axis. Joists and rafters extend inwardly from the walls towards a floor ring and a roof ring, respectively. The weight of the housing system acts against the cabling system, and the housing system rests in balanced state. The anchor cables may also anchor the housing system to a ground surface.
