A threaded fastener actuator that includes a worm-gear used to transfer rotational power to an impeller gear. The impeller gear includes a polygonal channel for receiving an actuator feature included in a threaded fastener. As the worm-gear is rotated, the impeller gear rotates about a vertical movement axis, which causes the threaded fastener contained in polygonal channel to also rotate and engage with a corresponding threaded coupler.

ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR A BUILDING STRUCTURE AND A WALL STRUCTURE HAVING AN ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT SYSTEM

An adjustable support system has a base bracket member, a clip member, and an outer bracket. The base bracket member has a first end wall that overlays a substrate, a body wall extending outwardly therefrom and a second end wall opposite the first end wall. The clip member has a base bracket member coupling, and a projecting arm. The base bracket member coupling is attached to the first end wall and overlies a portion of the body wall. The projecting arm is spaceable apart from the body wall. The outer bracket has a spanning wall with inner and outer sides. An outer end wall extends from the outer side. The spanning wall is slidably positionable between the body wall of the base bracket member and the at least one clip member, to sandwich the same. Wall assemblies and methods are likewise disclosed.

Covering element support arrangement
11313132 · 2022-04-26 · ·

A covering element support arrangement for attaching covering elements to a building or building component. The covering element support arrangement has a carrier means for receiving covering elements thereon. The covering element support arrangement further has an attachment means for attaching covering elements to the carrier means. The attachment means involves mechanical fastening means that can be fastened to the carrier means and that are engageable with covering elements to fix the covering elements to the carrier means. The carrier means is formed at least partially from a perforated sheet and the mechanical fastening means is engageable with the perforations. The frequency of the perforations is such that a covering element can be attached to the carrier means without requiring the covering element to be initially aligned relative to any single perforation. This thereby reduces the time required to fit covering elements.

SNAP CONNECTORS FOR WALL FRAMING
20220120078 · 2022-04-21 ·

A framing system includes a first connection assembly that engages with a substrate. The first connection assembly includes a first connector and a track. At least one spring flange defined by the first connector engages with a fastener positioned along the substrate to maintain the first connection assembly in a fixed position relative to the substrate and to interconnect the substrate with the track. The framing system further includes a second connection assembly defining a second connector engaged to a stud. The second connection assembly engages with the first connection assembly to interconnect the stud with the track.

System and Method for Retaining A Decorative Fin
20230243148 · 2023-08-03 · ·

A system for retaining a position of an architectural fin relative to a structure. The fin is generally planar and defines an edge. The system includes a first mounting bracket configured to retain the architectural fin. The first mounting bracket comprises a first element having laterally opposed surfaces configured to receive the architectural fin therebetween and to apply a compression force to the laterally opposed surfaces of the architectural fin. A second element connected to the first element so that the first element is rotatable relative to the second element about an axis of rotation of the first mounting bracket. The second element has a base for fixing the first mounting bracket relative to the structure. The first mounting bracket is configured to enable rotation of the architectural fin relative to the structure about the axis of rotation of the first mounting bracket.

CLADDING ATTACHMENT DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS OF USE

Devices, systems, and associated methods for attaching materials girts, rails, cladding, and/or other cladding components to an exterior wall portion (e.g., an insulated exterior wall portion) or other substructure of a building are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the system includes cladding component attachment devices and cladding anchors, each configured to extend between the exterior wall portion and the cladding component. Each cladding anchor can have a base configured to be attached to the exterior wall of the building and a rod attached to the base and projecting outwardly therefrom and having a distal end portion configured to be attached to the cladding component. One or more of the cladding anchors can be positioned between adjacent cladding component attachment devices.

FACADE INSULATING SYSTEM
20230304281 · 2023-09-28 · ·

A façade insulating system includes an insulation panel of thermal insulation material, an outer panel, and a plurality of fastening devices. The thermal insulation material includes a first surface configured to face a wall of a building, a second surface opposite the first surface, and side surfaces. The plurality of fastening devices are configured to connect the outer panel and the insulation panel to the wall of the building. The insulation panel includes protrusions distributed over the second surface of the insulation panel. The protrusions are configured to abut the outer panel, such that, when the outer panel and the insulation panel are connected to the wall of the building, air channels are formed between the second surface of the insulation panel and the outer panel. Each of the plurality of fastening devices includes a distancing section. The distancing section includes two bracket sections. One of the bracket sections defines a first contact surface for abutment against the second surface of the insulation panel. The other bracket section defines a second contact surface for abutment against an inner surface of the outer panel, thereby determining a distance equal to a height of the protrusions between the second surface of the insulation panel and the inner surface of the outer panel.

MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR BUILDING PANELS

A mounting and alignment system for building panels. A mounting bracket comprises a lower component affixable to a building support and an upper component from which a panel can be hung. A bearing assembly between the upper and lower components transfers load from the upper component to the lower component and allows the horizontal position of the upper component and thereby the panel to be easily adjusted. Mullion guides on the sides and extending over the panel top interact with mullion guides on other panels and automatically adjust the horizontal position of a panel as the panel is lowed in place from a relatively large horizontal placement tolerance a smaller placement tolerance required for other interacting structures on adjacent sides of installed panel. After the panel is installed, mullion guides on the adjacent panel sides can be removed.
