Member to structural member connector
A member to structural member connector, having a strap assembly with first and second lateral sides, and a top side; and a fastening assembly, wherein the strap assembly secures at least one member to a fixed structure, wherein the strap assembly wraps over the at least one member and the first and second lateral sides are fixed to the fixed structure by the fastening assembly. The first lateral side has a first top edge and a first bottom end. The second lateral side has a second top edge and a second bottom end. The first lateral side has a first hole that is a first predetermined distance from the first bottom end. The second lateral side has a second hole that is a second predetermined distance from the second bottom end. The top side is in between the first and second top edges.
Temporary pool cover and floor system
The innovation relates to a pool covering system that is usable as a flooring surface. The pool covering system includes brackets and support beams spanning the pool opening. The beams provide structural support to cross members and flooring placed on top of the beams. The pool covering system does not require significant drainage of the pool and does not damage the pool structure during installation and use.
Modular building system
A modular building system, includes a modular building assembly, including a base mounting structure with first and second base angle brackets; a left receiving wall assembly, including a left primary wall assembly, and left front and left rear corner brackets; a right primary wall assembly, and right front and right rear corner brackets; and front and rear wall assemblies; and a platform with legs; such that the modular building assembly is positionable on a top surface of the platform.
MULTI-PURPOSE STRUCTURAL PANELS AND SYSTEMS FOR ASSEMBLING STRUCTURES
The present invention is directed to a multi-purpose panel member which may be utilized as any surface or support beam in a structure. In a preferred embodiment, the panel may be extruded monolithically from aluminum. Also disclosed are systems for assembling structures from the panels utilizing a plurality of other components, which are also preferably extruded from aluminum.
Differential settlement anchors
The present invention provides an anchor assembly for attaching a first structure to a second structure. The anchor assembly has a body having a first face and a second face. The first face is transverse to the second face and has an elongate slot. The second face has a through hole. The body is fabricated from a material that fails at a temperature in excess of 1,000° F. A fastening member is positioned in the elongate slot for connecting the first face to the first structure and for sliding engagement with the elongate slot in response to relative movement of the first structure and the second structure.
Modular multi-container housing structure, multi-container interlock, and methods for manufacture of same
A modular multi-container housing structure connector for containers, which each have sides including a roof, a floor, and four lateral sides, includes a connector frame comprising vertical and horizontal struts shaped to connect to at least one of the sides of two adjacent containers and at least one interlock configured to secure the connector frame to the side of one container. The at least one interlock may be a plurality of interlocks. The connector frame may comprise two vertical struts and two horizontal struts each shaped and configured to connect to a respective edge of an adjacent side of two adjacent containers and, responsive to the connector frame being connected to two adjacent sides of two adjacent containers by the plurality of interlocks, the connector frame and interlocks form a container-to-connector frame-to-container connection to establish a weather-tight housing structure with the two or multiple connected containers.
PARTITION BRACKET ASSEMBLY
A bracket assembly for connecting the head track (282) of a partition wall (280) to an overhead structural component (298) of the building has a shaft (102) connected at right angles to a base plate (106), which in turn is connectable to the head track (282) so that the shaft extends substantially vertically upwards. A pair of upwardly extending wings (118) and an apertured intermediate portion (116) allowing the bracket to be slidingly disposed about the shaft. The wings (118) are connectable to arm portions (288), which in turn are connectable to linking flanges (292), connectable to the overhead structure 298. Springs (130, 132) bias the bracket towards a neutral position. The bracket (110) is retained on the shaft by an upper stop (108) and the base plate 106. Apertured stabilising means (122,124) disposed about the bracket (110) form a collar that guides and stabilises the bracket (110) as it slides relative to the shaft (102) during seismic activities.
BRACKET FOR STAIR RAILINGS
A bracket for connecting a stair rail to a post comprises a base and a cover adapted to slide over the base. The base comprises a plate and two opposed sidewalls. The plate has first and second surfaces. The sidewalls extend from the first surface of the plate. Two plate protrusions are formed on the second surface of the plate, with the two plate protrusions extending for at least a portion of a height of the plate. The cover comprises a roof, two opposed cover walls extending from the roof, and two flanges. Each of the cover walls comprise a cover wall edge, with each of the flanges extend from the cover wall edge for at least a portion of a height of the cover wall. The flanges are adapted to engage with the plate protrusions when the cover is slid over the base.
Nail-through polymer and metallic structural connectors
The present invention is a polymer/metallic composite structural connector for use in the construction of framed buildings. The connector includes a metal layer and a polymer layer. While the metal layer provides the conventional connection and structural strength, the polymer layer prevents driven anchors from impacting the metal and damaging either the connector or the anchor.
Anchor plate system for reinforcing masonry walls
A system and method of retroactively reinforcing an exterior wall. A first anchor plate is provided having a central connection point and peripheral connection points. The center connection point is connected to an anchor tether. An opening is drilled through the exterior wall and at least some joists. The anchor tether is advanced through the drilled opening. Within the drilled opening, the anchor tether anchors to at least some of the joists. The first anchor plate is attached to the anchor tether and the anchor tether is tensioned. Secondary anchor plates can be also be attached to the exterior wall at different points. Lateral tethers are provided that interconnect the first anchor plate to the secondary anchor plates. The lateral tethers extend along the surface of the exterior wall at a perpendicular to the anchor tethers.
