SOLID WOOD WALL SYSTEM
20220056693 · 2022-02-24 ·

A wall construction formed of solid wood members. The wall construction provides for a heating and cooling system that synergistically works with the inherent insulative properties of solid wood members. The wall construction comprises channels formed in the solid wood members to accommodate conduits for heating and cooling. The conduits are routed through multiple solid wood members of a wall and are positioned to efficiently heat and cool the interior of a building. Other grooves may be formed in the top side of the solid wood members to accommodate conduits for heating, cooling electrical service and communications carriers.

THERMAL BREAK WOOD STUD WITH RIGID INSULATION WITH NON-METAL FASTENERS AND WALL FRAMING SYSTEM
20170247883 · 2017-08-31 · ·

A thermal break wood and rigid insulation stud is comprised of two non-dimensional lumber sections with a thermal break section of rigid foam insulation therebetween. A non-metallic truss arrangement of mechanical fasteners holds the lumber and insulation sections secured together greatly improving the strength of the thermal break wood and rigid insulation stud. The studs in a wall are 24″ on center. The studs are used for headers and sills and also may be used for top and bottom plates. The corners have an exterior all wood stud, an interior all wood stud and an interior all wood stud adjacent to the interior wood stud completing the interior corner for nailing gypsum board thereto. This corner has a thermal break space between the exterior and interior wood studs for insulation placement. The corners may also have two 3×6 thermal studs oriented 90 degrees from each other and an interior all wood stud for completing the interior corner for nailing gypsum board thereto. This corner arrangement also has a thermal break through its construction.

Wall construction method using injected urethane foam between the wall and autoclaved concrete (AAC) blocks
09745739 · 2017-08-29 · ·

The present invention provides novel wall construction systems and materials for residential and commercial construction that incorporate grooved lightweight building material units (e.g., blocks, panels, and the like), a plurality of connection devices, a track system, and (injected) polyurethane structural foam. The wall construction system comprises building material units married to a building frame with a plurality of connection devices (e.g., clip fasteners) slidingly retained in a track system that is attached to the building's structural (e.g., load-bearing) framing. The building material units are joined to each other with a suitable binding agent. The cavity between the frame and the building material units is injected with an insulating structural polyurethane foam. The exterior of the wall is finished with a waterproof applied finish such as cementitious stucco. The interior of the wall is amenable to standard finish options.

WOODEN FACADE ELEMENT
20170241144 · 2017-08-24 ·

It is provided a cross-laminated wood façade element (1) that has an upper end (12) and a lower end (13), an inner surface (3), an outer surface (2) and a longitudinal axis (28) in the direction from the upper end (12) to the lower end (13), said element (1) comprising an inner layer (4) of timber elements (7) and at least one intermediate layer (5) of timber elements (7) where the grain of the timber elements (7) of the inner layer (4) and grain of the timber elements (7) of the at least one intermediate layer (5) are at least partially oriented in different directions, the façade element (1) further comprising an outer layer (6) comprising timber elements (7) in which the grain direction is oriented approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis (28), characterized in that the outer surface (2) of the façade element (1) has grooves (11) that are approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis (28).

Construction system with crossed structural boards

A construction system includes a set of constituent elements, at least one of which includes at least two superimposed folds each including at least two wooden structural boards. In this system, at least two constituent elements are fixed together by a non-adhesive fixing device and at least two adjacent folds are held against each other by non-adhesive holding device. The faces in contact with two structural boards are at least partially provided, at their contact interface, with a set of grooved patterns arranged so as to prevent the structural boards from sliding one relative to the other along at least one first immobilisation axis. A method for manufacturing such a construction system is also disclosed.

Integral composite shuttering panel and monolithic wall building system

A composite wall panel having a front surface, a rear surface, and side surfaces extending therebetween is provided. The panel includes a cured composition of pieces of cellulose and/or chaff and at least one binder. A wall assembly is also provided.
