Structural element for constructions
A structural element for constructions comprising a structure (2) made of concrete and/or geopolymer and/or alkali activated material and at least one strip (3) made of a fibre-resin composite. Such strip surrounds at least part of said structure (2), compressing it. The strip also at least partly surmounts an external surface (20) of said structure (2).
Modular Building System
This invention relates to a versatile, modular building system for constructing a building frame. The components of the modular system are formed from high-density materials, and include one or more base units, one or more floor units connected to the base units, a plurality of end panel units, the end panels units connected to the base units and/or floor units, at least one front beam unit, the front beam unit adapted to connect to at least two end panel units, and one or more front panel units, the front panel unit adapted to connect to at least two end panel units and/or at least one floor unit. Also described are various additional modular units that may be incorporated into the modular building system described. The modular system is designed to be pre-fabricated off site and quickly erected on building sites with a range of contours.
Modular Building System
This invention relates to a versatile, modular building system for constructing a building frame. The components of the modular system are formed from high-density materials, and include one or more base units, one or more floor units connected to the base units, a plurality of end panel units, the end panels units connected to the base units and/or floor units, at least one front beam unit, the front beam unit adapted to connect to at least two end panel units, and one or more front panel units, the front panel unit adapted to connect to at least two end panel units and/or at least one floor unit. Also described are various additional modular units that may be incorporated into the modular building system described. The modular system is designed to be pre-fabricated off site and quickly erected on building sites with a range of contours.

Disclosed is a structural element including of interlocked resilient sheet material components, with each sheet operatively forming a component by being shaped to provide an elongate base with two opposing edges from which a first extension and a second extension respectively extend, with the second extension extending further from the base than the first extension, with the first and second extensions being provided with complimentary interlocking means operatively enabling the extensions of one sheet material component to be interlocked with the extensions of another sheet material component; with the extensions of four sheet components being interlocked, each at a right angle with at least one extension of another one of the sheet components, operatively for four sheet components to provide the structural element with an elongate open-ended core with a plurality of elongate open-ended ribs spaced around the core with each rib being longitudinally aligned with the core.

A method for forming a plurality of beams connected in series is provided. The method comprises the following steps: providing a plurality of columns; providing a plurality of pre-assembled bar combinations, wherein each of the plurality of pre-assembled bar combinations comprises a plurality of lower main bars and a plurality of lower stirrups, and at least one end of the plurality of the lower main bars has connection sections extending beyond the plurality of lower stirrups; hoisting each of the bar combinations so that the two ends thereof are placed on top of two adjacent columns of the plurality of columns and the connection sections of the plurality of lower main bars of adjacent plurality of bar combinations overlap; and connecting the plurality of connection sections of the plurality of lower main bars of the adjacent plurality of bar combinations.

The method comprises the following steps: providing a plurality of columns; providing a plurality of pre-assembled bar combinations, wherein each of the plurality of pre-assembled bar combinations comprises a plurality of lower main bars and a plurality of lower stirrups, and at least one end of the plurality of the lower main bars has connection sections extending beyond the plurality of lower stirrups; hoisting each of the bar combinations so that the two ends thereof are placed on top of two adjacent columns of the plurality of columns and the connection sections of the plurality of lower main bars of adjacent plurality of bar combinations overlap; and connecting the plurality of connection sections of the plurality of lower main bars of the adjacent plurality of bar combinations.

A reinforced compound concrete beam-column joint containing demolished concrete lumps and a construction method are disclosed. The steel strip stirrups configured to constrain column longitudinal reinforcements of the reinforced compound concrete column containing demolished concrete lumps and the steel connection sheets with grooves are arranged in joint at positions of the upper and lower beam longitudinal reinforcements of the reinforced compound concrete beam containing demolished concrete lumps. The steel strip stirrups abut against the column longitudinal reinforcements. The steel connection sheets are welded to the steel strip stirrups. One end of the short steel bars with threads at one end is welded into the grooves of the steel connection sheets, and the other end is connected to the beam longitudinal reinforcement via a steel sleeve. The joint prevents the beam longitudinal reinforcements from passing through the joint and thus causing reinforcements congestion.
