The present invention relates to the use of a mineral blend as cosmetic agent for a wet cosmetic composition, wherein the mineral blend comprises a first component being selected from natural ground calcium carbonate and/or precipitated calcium carbonate, and a second component being a surface-reacted calcium carbonate, as well as to a wet cosmetic composition comprising said mineral blend.

A physically stable skin care composition with a continuous phase and a dispersed phase and a method for making the same. The continuous phase can include from about 0.5% to about 1.5% sodium hyaluronate with a weight average molecular weight from about 500,000 to about 1,000,000 Da according to the European Pharmacopoeia Method. The continuous phase can also include at least two thickening agents that can includes polyacrylamide polymers and copolymers and a carboxylic acid polymer. The dispersed phase can include silicone. The composition can have an average viscosity greater than 25,000 cP and the sodium hyaluronate can be fully hydrated.

This disclosure provides an encapsulated cleansing composition that is free of talc and that includes a core particle including (1) tapioca starch, (2) potato starch, (3) at least one anionic surfactant, and (4) at least one amphoteric surfactant. The encapsulated cleaning composition also includes a coating disposed about at least a portion of the core particle and includes a polysaccharide.

The present invention relates to the use of Ca.sub.5(PO.sub.4).sub.3(OH) (hydroxyapatite; HAP) and a dental care composition comprising Ca.sub.5(PO.sub.4).sub.3(OH) for the deep-layer remineralization of demineralized teeth, in particular for the deep-layer remineralization of demineralized dental enamel. Ca.sub.5(PO.sub.4).sub.3(OH) used according to the invention and the dental care composition used according to the invention can be applied in the treatment and/or prevention of various diseases affecting the teeth, in particular caries.

Methods and aqueous compositions for styling or reshaping keratinous fibers such as human hair are provided.
