Platform system
A modular platform system utilizing a number of components including a platform. The platform is configured so that each of the components may interchangeably connect to any side of the platform. The components include, for example, handrails and stairways, as well as other platforms. The platform and most of the components are formed from single, continuous pieces of metal.
CONFIGURABLE SCAFFOLDING SYSTEM
A configurable scaffolding system is configured to facilitate simplified, reconfigurable access to a plurality of horticulture racks. With use of the configurable scaffolding system, operator convenience and safety are improved, and increased plant density in horticultural applications can be achieved.
FASTENING ELEMENT
The invention relates to a scaffolding element having a scaffolding pole (12i), at least one fastening element being disposed or formed on the scaffolding pole (12i). The fastening element preferably has a fastening element body. The fastening element body can be L-shaped. Preferably, the free end of the fastening element body points straight upwards when the scaffolding element (22) is in the mounted state. A projection is disposed or formed below the free end on the fastening element body, in particular in a section parallel to the longitudinal axis of the scaffolding pole (12i). The projection can be part of a U-shaped bead.
SCAFFOLD PLATFORM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
The invention concerns a scaffolding decking (10) for scaffolding in the building sector, with a support frame (16) comprising two longitudinal profiles (18) and one or more transverse profiles (20), via which the longitudinal profiles (18) are connected to one another. The scaffolding decking has a decking plate (12) which is fastened to the longitudinal profiles (18), each cross profile (20) being hooked into the two longitudinal profiles (18) and only being hooked through the decking plate (12) into its longitudinal profiles (18) is held or secured in the hooked position. Each transverse profile (20) has two wall legs (42) which are connected to one another via a back section (44) and wherein the two wall legs (42) have angled free edge portions (46) on which the covering plate (12) rests. Also, the invention concerns a process for the manufacture of the scaffolding above decking (10).
Foldable quad-chord truss
A foldable quad-chord truss which can be connected end-to-end with like trusses. The chords of each pair of chords are rigidly attached, and connector members intermediate the ends are each swivelly attached to each of the chords of each chord pair to effect the folding into a compact shape for transport and storage. The connector members are adapted for attachment to beams or connector members thereof which beams may extend between a parallel pair of the trusses.
Kit for erecting a platform
A kit for erecting a platform. The kit comprises a plurality of quad-chord trusses. Each truss is attachable to others of the truss by eyelets on the ends of the chords. When the chords are spaced horizontally, the eyelet apertures are vertical for receiving pins, which allows a single pin to be inserted in eyelet apertures on one side of the truss so that one truss is swingable horizontally into position for rigid attachment end-to-end by inserting another pin in eyelet apertures on the other side of the truss. Each truss comprises a plurality of connector members for attachment to the trusses along their lengths. The kit further comprises a plurality of cross beams having connector members at their ends to mate with and attach to the truss connector members, and a plurality of tie-up mechanisms attachable to the trusses and to which a supporting line from an overhead structure is attachable. The cross beams have overhangs at their ends for overhanging the upper ones of the chords to allow ease of movement along the chords and attachment. A track lies between the chords of each truss to allow movement of bolts along the track into position for insertion into decking apertures for attachment of the decking. The trusses may be foldable for transport and storage.
Void Platforms
A panel is disclosed which is suitable for installation to form a platform or part of a platform in a void of a building structure. The panel is operable to extend between a first support member and a second support member both of which extend across at least a portion of the void. The panel has: a deck component with: a first end and a second end opposite the first end; a pair of opposed, substantially straight sides each extending from the first end to the second end; and a substantially planar surface portion which extends: between the opposed sides at the first end, and from the first end at least part of the way, but not necessarily all the way, to the second end; and one or more first engaging formations at the first end of the deck component and operable to engage with the first support member to support the deck component relative to the first support member, and one or more second engaging formations at the second end of the deck component and operable to engage with the second support member to support the deck component relative to the second support member. At least one out of the first and second engaging formation(s) is/are configured to support the relevant end of the deck component relative to the relevant support member from approximately directly vertically beneath, and/or from approximately within vertical planes containing, each of the straight sides of the deck component.
Work platform system including suspended paneled portion and method of implementing same
A work platform system for implementation in relation to a structure, as well as subsystems and components thereof and methods of implementation and use relating thereto, are disclosed herein. In at least one embodiment, the work platform system includes a first pair of flexible elements and a second pair of flexible elements, where a respective first end of each of the flexible elements is coupled at least indirectly to a first support component and a respective second end of each of the flexible elements is coupled at least indirectly to a second support component. The work platform system can further include a plurality of panel structures supported upon the flexible elements, a suspension component, and a clamp structure coupled to at least one of the first pair of flexible elements and the second pair of flexible elements. The work platform system can include one or more support extension.
SCAFFOLD HAVING AN ANTI-LIFT-OUT DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SECURING A SCAFFOLD PLATFORM AGAINST LIFTING OUT
A scaffold includes a U-profile beam having an outwardly-open U-profile in which a scaffold platform is releasably hooked by mounting hooks. The U-profile beam has a perpendicular wall delimiting the U-profile and a guiding and fastening groove delimited by inwardly-extending groove reach-behind protrusions delimiting a locking space for releasably locking a locking element reaching behind the protrusions. An anti-lift-out and support element has an anti-lift-out element extending over the hooks to prevent lifting out. A support element fixed to the anti-lift-out element extends perpendicularly from the anti-lift-out element to a support element end for supporting the support element on the wall. The anti-lift-out element has a through-opening designed so that the fastening element moves the locking element toward the fastening element longitudinal axis and perpendicularly to the groove through the through-opening. A method secures scaffold platform mounting hooks against lifting out from a U-profile beam using an anti-lift-out device.
STAIRS TO WALKWAY SYSTEM AND METHOD
Disclosed is an arrangement including a staircase as well as walkway systems. The staircase includes a transitional member, and the walkways incorporate grate supports in order to facilitate the connection to adjacent structures. The arrangement also utilizes angled members which are configured with a reinforced flange existing in a dimension that has higher load requirements than the other flange. A novel step configuration is also disclosed.
