Disclosed is a modular safety fencing system and a method for using a modular safety fencing system. The modular safety fencing system has at least one module having a rigid box and a covering, at least two telescopic side frames adjustable according to required height to enable the modular safety fencing system to extend between top surface and bottom surface of building structure, top connector connecting the modular safety fencing system to top surface, and at least one fastener for securely fastening the at least one module to bottom surface. When the modular safety fencing system is in use, the covering at least partially covers space between top surface and bottom surface of building structure.

FOLDING RAIL ASSEMBLY, COMBINATION OF FOLDING RAIL ASSEMBLY AND STANDARD, SCAFFOLDING SYSTEM, AND METHOD
20240344339 · 2024-10-17 ·

Folding rail assembly for a scaffold, comprising an upper rail part, a middle rail part, a first post, and a second post which are mutually hingedly connected for adjusting between a folded-in configuration and a folded-out configuration. The first post is provided with a coupling hook structure to suspend the first post from a rosette of a standard of the scaffold in an opening of the rosette with play. At the coupling hook structure a locking hook structure is provided which is configured for, depending on a rotation position of the locking hook structure relative to the rosette, counteracting the first post, by moving up, being brought out of its state suspended from the rosette. By rotation of the rail assembly around a rotation axis parallel to the standard, the locking hook structure can be brought in a locking position to counteract the suspended post coming loose.

VERTICALLY RAISING SAFETY RAIL WITH DUAL SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR RAIL ARM BEARING
20180135307 · 2018-05-17 ·

A vertical raising safety rail with dual support structure for rail arm bearing. The safety rail includes lower linkage arm assemblies that are connected to a base and to a center rail assembly and configured to raise or lower the center rail assembly relative to the base when a rotational force is applied to the drive shaft. The safety rail also includes upper linkage arm assemblies that are connected to the center rail assembly and to a top rail. The upper linkage arm assemblies are connected to corresponding lower linkage assemblies and are configured to move the top rail relative to the center rail assembly. When the top rail is raised, one or more safety curtains are unfurled from a take-up roller inside the top rail to provide a safety curtain in the vertical plane of the safety rail. Each rail arm assembly includes a dual support structure for supporting a bearing axle.

SCAFFOLD UNIT

An extendible scaffold unit comprises at least two support platforms or two support frames (12, 14, 16), at least one of the support platforms or support frames (12, 14, 16) being movable between a lowered position and a raised position, a plurality of scissor linkages (35, 36, 37) linking one support platform or support frame (12, 14, 16) with a next support platform or support frame (12, 14, 16), each of the scissor linkages (35, 36, 37) including a plurality of legs (26, 28, 30, 32), each scissor linkage having a leg pivotally connected to or near a corner of one of the support platforms or support frames and a leg pivotally connected to or near a corner of a next support platform support frame, wherein a leg is pivotally connected at or near each corner of a support platform or support frame. By providing a leg pivotally connected at or near each corner of a support platform or support frame, the support platform or support frame is supported at or near each corner when in the raised position. This provides a stronger, more stable and more secure support to the platform/frame.

Collapsible safety railing

A temporary guardrail for an unprotected staircase is assembled and installed using prefabricated sections. One section is a safety section that includes an adjustable length upper railing, with a pair of balusters respectively hinged to each end of the upper railing. Another section is a support section having an adjustable length lower railing that is engaged between the balusters of the safety section and which, when assembled with the safety section, is oriented parallel to the upper railing. The safety and support sections are then stiffened to account for an incline angle that is defined by the staircase. Also included are structures which can be engaged with the temporary guardrail to stabilize it on the staircase.

A vertical raising safety rail having a moveable top rail, a base, a movable center rail assembly positioned above the base and below the top rail, a drive shaft, and a motor that provides rotational power to the drive shaft. The safety rail further includes a pair of spaced apart lower linkage arm assemblies that is operatively connected to the base and to the center rail assembly and configured to raise or lower the center rail assembly relative to the base when a rotational force is applied to the drive shaft. The safety rail also includes a pair of spaced apart upper linkage arm assemblies that is operably connected to the center rail assembly and to the top rail. The upper linkage aim assemblies are operably connected to corresponding lower linkage assemblies and are configured to move the upper rail relative to the center rail assembly. When the rotational force is reversed, the safely rail collapses into a compact footprint.
