Bi-fold door latch assembly
A latch assembly connected to the drive unit of a bi-fold door for retaining the bi-fold door secure to a building has elongated straps attached to rotatable latch drums mounted on the outer ends of the drive shaft of the drive unit. Lift drums powered by a motor driven gearbox raise and lower the bi-fold door. Latch assemblies having springs attached to the straps maintain tension on the straps during the opening and closing of the bi-fold door.
Sectional folding overhead door assembly
A sectional folding overhead door assembly that includes a pair of opposite, vertically disposed side supports and guides defining a door opening between them, each of the supports and guides including a first channel and a second channel disposed side-by-side, a door component having a first, second, third and fourth rectangular panel adapted for folding vertical movement along the supports and guides, a folding movement controlling member, each folding movement controlling member having a folding movement controlling member upper end hingeably connected to a respective side edge of the first and third panels, respectively, and a folding movement controlling member lower end hingeably connected to the respective guide plate lower end around a folding movement controlling member hinge axis, and a folding movement guiding channel into which a respective side plate guiding pin of a side plate attached to the second panel extends.
Multi-positionable folding food shield configurable for use in cafeteria, self-serve and self-serve with display modes
A food shield for use in a restaurant or food service institution includes a pair of partially overlapping upper and lower transparent panels, first and second locking assemblies connected to and supporting one lateral side of each of the upper and lower transparent panels, and first and second non-locking assemblies connected to and supporting the opposite lateral side of each of the upper and lower transparent panels. Each of the first locking and non-locking assemblies, which supports the upper transparent panel, is mountable to a respective vertical support post. The food shield is transformable into three different settings. In a cafeteria setting, the upper and lower transparent panels overlap each other to provide a full length barrier in front of food product being displayed. In a self-serve setting, the lower transparent panel is pivoted inwardly such that it resides behind the upper transparent panel. In a self-serve and display setting, the lower transparent panel is adjusted to a horizontal position to create a shelf situated behind the upper transparent panel.
Lifting apparatus for a flexible divider
A lifting apparatus is provided. The lifting apparatus includes a lifting cable supported relative to the ceiling structure, the lifting cable extending along a vertical direction and attaching to a lift point on the flexible divider. The lifting cable is retractable in the vertical direction to lift the flexible divider from a lowered configuration to a raised configuration. The lifting apparatus further includes a guiding element for guiding a position of the lifting cable along a horizontal direction while the flexible divider moves between the lowered configuration and the raised configuration. The guiding element is movably mounted to the ceiling structure to move between a first horizontal position when the flexible divider is in the lowered configuration, and a second horizontal position when the flexible divider is in the raised configuration.
TAILGATE STOP APPARATUS
A tailgate stop apparatus. The apparatus includes a base member configured to be fixed with respect to a primary gate assembly of a multiple-gate tailgate. The apparatus includes a stop member coupled to the base member, wherein the stop member is movable between a tailgate-engaged position configured to inhibit an inner gate panel of an inner gate assembly of the multiple-gate tailgate from being moved to a closed position, and a tailgate-disengaged position configured to allow the inner gate panel to be moved to the closed position.
Method of opening and closing a bi-fold door
A latch assembly connected to the drive unit of a bi-fold door for retaining the bi-fold door secure to a building has elongated straps attached to rotatable latch drums mounted on the outer ends of the drive shaft of the drive unit. Lift drums powered by a motor driven gearbox raise and lower the bi-fold door. Latch assemblies having springs attached to the straps maintain tension on the straps during the opening and closing of the bi-fold door.
Door floor anchor assembly
A bi-fold door is opened with a lift assembly having a plurality of straps attached to power driven lift drums. A latch assembly retains the closed bi-fold door secure to side columns of a building. The latch assembly has a latch strap attached to a latch drum that accommodates the latch strap to hold the closed bi-fold door in contact with the side columns of the building. A floor anchor assembly anchors the bottom of the closed bi-fold door to the floor below the closed bi-fold door to stabilize and inhibit bending and deformation of the bi-fold door frame.
VEHICLE DOOR SYSTEMS AND METHOD
A refuse vehicle includes a body including a cab, a door assembly, and a linkage assembly. The door assembly is coupled to the cab and includes a first door panel and a second door panel. The first door panel is rotatably coupled to the second door panel and has an unfolded position and a folded position. The linkage assembly is configured to reposition the door assembly between a closed position and an open position relative to the cab. In a first state the door assembly is in the closed position the second door panel is in the unfolded position, and in a second state the door assembly is in the open position and the second door panel is in the folded position. The linkage assembly may include a first linkage coupled between the cab and the door assembly and a second linkage coupled between the cab and the door assembly.
FOLDING SHUTTER
A folding shutter having a frame with at least one linear guide rail and a carriage mounted to the linear guide rail so that it can be moved in the first direction extending between a first and a second end of the guide rail, and at least two folding shutter elements where one folding shutter element is attached to the carriage via a first and a second bracket part attached to the carriage, so that the first and the second shutter element folds when the carriage moves away from the first end of the guide rail, and wherein each of a first and a second peg is arranged on one bracket part, and extending into engagement with a first and a second slot respectively arranged on the other bracket part.
Hold open j-track locking mechanism for cowling
In one embodiment of the present disclosure, there is provided an aircraft that includes a cowling having a j-track mounted on the inwardly facing surface and a rod pivotally connected to a stationary part of the aircraft at a first end and moveable within the j-track at a second end, so that, when the cowling is opened, the second end moves to lock into the j-shaped portion and hold the cowling open. In various embodiments, the first end may be pivotally connected to the aircraft by a quick release pin, and the second end may be connected to the j-track by a torsion spring. In another embodiment of the present disclosure, the cowling is a bi-folding cowl having an upper portion and a lower portion, where the rod and the lower portion may include structures for retaining the lower portion in an opened position.
