Means for securing against operating errors for leaves of a window or door that can be slid together

A fitting assembly has a device for securing against operating errors that has a first protrusion which can be moved relative to a second protrusion by means of a first operating rod assembly. A buffer can be provided between the end sides of the first protrusion and the second protrusion. The first protrusion can be a cylinder and/or the second protrusion can extend in an elongated manner. The fitting assembly can have an anti-lifting device with a third protrusion which prevents a lifting of the first leaf. The fitting assembly has multiple carriages and multiple sliders in order to position leaves of the window or the door into their slide position in parallel with the main plane of the window or the door. In the blocking position, the leaves can be pressed against a fixed frame of the window or the door via the fitting assembly with multiple carriages and multiple sliders, in order to reliably seal the window or the door.

The detent lug has a catch groove on the insertion taper which extends parallel to the receptacle recess over the detent lug.

GARAGE DOOR ACCESS REMOTE

An access system for a structure includes a control box mounted within a controlled access space of the structure and operatively coupled to a door panel operator that opens and closes a door panel of the structure for access to the controlled access space. The control box is configured to detect a presence of a security device relative to the control box, determine a position of the security device relative to the structure, and determine an authorization of the security device. The access system also includes a user interface mounted in an uncontrolled access space of the structure and coupled in communication with the control box. Upon actuation of the user interface, the control box operates the door panel operator when the security device is positioned proximate the control box, located in the uncontrolled access space of the structure, and authorized to operate the door panel.

A control device and method for a vehicle having an automatically opening and/or automatically closing flap includes an operating switch which can be operated contactlessly in the form of a proximity sensor and a programmable functional module. The method includes the following steps: firstly, an operating requirement signal is generated upon recognition of a predetermined proximity pattern consisting of the raw sensor signal of the proximity sensor for output of a resulting control signal to an unlocking and locking mechanism for the actual automatic opening or closing the valve, secondly, it is determined whether a predetermined absolute limit value of the raw sensor signal is exceeded, and thirdly, when the predetermined limiting value is exceeded, the output of the control signal is also suppressed when the operating requirement signal is generated, wherein this provision is also designated in short below as suppression mode.

Method and Apparatus Pertaining to Message-Based Functionality

A movable barrier operator transmits a message to a remote peripheral platform and, upon determining that the remote peripheral platform is presently able to carry out a given functionality, responsively permits a particular function to be carried out by the movable barrier operator. Conversely, upon determining that it cannot be ascertained whether the remote peripheral platform is presently able to carry out the given functionality, the movable barrier operator responsively prevents the movable barrier operator from carrying out the particular function. Also, upon detecting that a targeted remote platform does not acknowledge a previously re-transmitted message and further upon detecting that this same remote platform has also not acknowledged a subsequent wirelessly-transmitted second message, the system can switch to automatically retransmitting that second message a lesser number of times than would otherwise be required.
