THERMAL-BREAK ASSEMBLY
A thermal-break assembly including a thermal-insulation block configured to be installed between a first floor section and a second floor section. A weight-receiving device is configured to receive the thermal-insulation block. Spaced-apart reinforcing bars extend through, and beyond, the thermal-insulation block; this is done in such a way that the spaced-apart reinforcing bars, in use, extend into the first floor section and into the second floor section (once the thermal-insulation block is installed therebetween). The spaced-apart reinforcing bars are in intimate contact with the weight-receiving device.
Durable entryway threshold
Disclosed is a threshold assembly that is durable and resistant to damage from mechanical stress and ultraviolet light exposure, thermally insulating, aesthetically pleasing, and adjustable to accommodate varying door heights and entryway dimensions and that can also be manufactured in a cost effective manner. The threshold includes base portion having a front face that accommodates an extender, a top surface, a channel, a nose wall, and an optional sizing notch that allows the threshold to be cut to varying entryway widths. The threshold further includes a deck cover secured about the base portion and a cap disposed within the base channel. An adjustment screw is disposed within the cap and used to vary the height of the threshold assembly to create an appropriate fit to an associated door. The deck cover or other components can be made of a durable coextruded material with impact or other modifiers.
Insulated Metal Panel and Curtain Wall Systems
Wall systems and buildings having such wall systems are disclosed. Such wall systems include parametric mullions each of which is constructed from a plurality of interconnecting components so that the wall systems may be disposed much closer to the building frame than conventional wall systems. Such wall systems may include panels disposed to form convex or concave facades. Such wall systems may also include decorative features superimposed over one or more panels or extending outward from the facade surface. The parametric mullions may be formed into trusses which may be used as part of a wall system or independently of such wall systems.
SYSTEM FOR A CONFIGURABLE DOOR SILL
A system, device, kit, assembly and methods for a frame assembly, including a door sill as shown and described. The assembly may be a door frame assembly and may, by way of example, be a door jamb and/or a door mullion including a door sill. Some inventions of the present disclosure may be a configurable door sill. In some embodiments, a door sill includes a base and a configurable insert component.
Architectural terrace door
The threshold system includes a first support member secured to a walking surface, a second support member secured to the walking surface, and a thermal break joining the first support member and the second support member. A first ramp is removably coupled to the first support member. A second ramp is removably coupled to the second support member.
MAGNETIC ATTRACTION THRESHOLD
A magnetic attraction threshold contains: an accommodation holder, a stopper, and at least one magnetic element. The base includes an open segment, a first groove, and a second groove. The first groove includes a first opening, the second groove includes a second opening, and the first groove and the second groove are symmetrically formed inside the hollow accommodation holder. The stopper includes a stop sheet, a first fixing fence, and a second fixing fence. The first fixing fence and the second fixing fence extend from a bottom of the stop sheet respectively. The stop sheet includes a trench configured to accommodate the at least one magnetic element. The stopper is connected in the accommodation holder. The first fixing fence is movably inserted into the first groove via the first opening, and the second fixing fence is movably inserted into the second groove via the second opening.
Continuous sill for doors with sidelites
Disclosed is a sill assembly and sill that can be positioned continuously under doorways with swing doors, sidelites, and vertical door frame members such as vertical jambs, and mull posts, or the vertical members of sidelites. One variation of the sill assembly can be used for inswing doors while another can be used for outswing doors. The sill assembly includes a backstop and optionally can include end dams. These in combination with the structure of the sill assembly shed water away from the building structure and allow for the possibility of the sill assembly being installed without an additional sill pan or flashing. The sill assembly can optionally include one or more thermal breaks. The sill assembly can be structured so the thermal breaks of the door, sidelites, and vertical door frame members all align with the thermal breaks of the sill assembly.
