Vehicle protection system
The present invention includes a system for protect a vehicle from damage. Specifically, a non-marking protector is attached to a garage door arm to prevent damage that may occur when the rear lift hatch of a vehicle is opened and makes contact with the garage door arm. The rear lift hatch will contact one or more non-marking protectors instead, thereby ensuring no damage is caused.
EXTERIOR DOOR AND METHODS FOR FORMING EXTERIOR DOORS
A door assembly can include a core layer, a backing layer, and a faade layer. The core layer can define a faade side and a back side opposite the faade side. The core layer can include a rail and a plurality of stiles coupled to the rail. The backing layer can be adhered to the back side of the core layer. The faade layer can be adhered to the faade side of the core layer. The faade layer can include a plurality of frame segments defining an outer surface comprised of polymer and the plurality of frame segments defining a mating surface adhered to the faade side of the core layer.
Insulated diamond plate backed novel portions of a garage door panel
An apparatus and method for forming new and novel portions of a garage door panel. This includes forming at least one decoration into a steel plate section and bonding to it a unique foam core where a mirror image decoration is routed into the foam core to exactly match the decoration. In addition, an aluminum diamond plate sheet with a front surface and a rear surface is bonded to the rear of the foam core. The aluminum diamond plate sheet also includes a sheet of steel affixed to its rear surface which rear surface is bonded to the foam core so that magnetic decorations can be attached to the front of the aluminum diamond plate sheet.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONVERTING AN OVERHEAD DOOR INTO A GATE OR SERVING WINDOW TO FACILITATE ENTERTAINMENT AND OTHER PURPOSES
A system is disclosed for converting an overhead door into a gate or serving window, the system having at least two rows of panels spanning the width of the door, one panel located above and adjacent to the other panel, a pair of rails opposite one another and adjacent to the panels, the panels traveling within the rails to move from a closed position to an open position, and at least one hinge connecting the lower row of panels to the upper row of panels, the hinge having an upper half attached to the upper row of panels and a lower half attached to the lower row of panels, the upper and lower halves of the hinge connected by a removable central pin, wherein the upper row of panels moves from the closed position to the open position when the central pin is removed from the hinge.
Impact resistant full view door
An overhead door includes a plurality of articulating panels. At least one of the plurality of articulating panels includes a frame defining an opening, the frame having a ledge and a lip extending from the ledge into the opening and a transparent panel having a first side and an opposing second side. The transparent panel is positioned adjacent to both the lip and the ledge with the first side of the transparent panel positionable adjacent the lip. The plurality of articulating panels further includes a retainer member positionable adjacent the second side of the transparent panel and operable to be fastened to the frame.
INTERNAL INTEGRAL REINFORCEMENT STRUT AND HINGE FASTENING BACKER PLATE FOR OVERHEAD SECTIONAL DOORS
A panel for an overhead sectional door includes an exterior skin on an exterior-facing side of the panel and an interior skin on an interior-facing side of the panel that define a plenum. An insulating material is disposed in the plenum. An upper backer strut is disposed in the plenum proximate a top leading edge of the interior skin and extends across a full length of the panel. A lower backer strut is disposed in the plenum proximate a bottom leading edge of the panel and extends across a full length of the panel. The upper backer strut and the lower backer strut each include first and second strut legs extending into the plenum. The first and second strut legs are spaced from the exterior skin. Hardware is attached to the panel by fastening the hardware to one of the upper backer strut and the lower backer strut.
DRIVE DRUM FOR OVERHEAD DOORS
The present disclosure is directed to overhead door assemblies and operating systems. Disclosed herein is a drive drum that is compatible across a variety of overhead door types, including, for example, standard lift doors, vertical lift doors, and high lift doors. The drive drum of the present disclosure comprises a first cable groove section and a second cable groove section, opposite the first cable groove section, wherein at least one of the first cable groove section or the second cable groove section is in a non-linear graduated arrangement.
Overhead bi-fold door
An overhead bi-fold door mounted on a freestanding header has a door lift device with polymer cylindroids and capstans operated with an electric motor driven power transmission to selectively move the bi-fold door from an upright closed position to a folded open position and allow the bi-fold door to move from the folded open position to the upright closed position. Anchors mounted on the bi-fold door adjust the working length of the cylindroids between the capstans and anchors. The capstans have laterally spaced disks engageable with the cylindroids during the helical winding and unwinding of the cylindroid on the capstans as the bi-fold door moves at an increasing rate of speed from the upright closed to folded open positions and a decreasing rate of speed from the folded open to upright closed positions.
Dynamic and multi-sided viewing projection screen assembly for a garage door and system thereof
The present invention relates to a dynamic and multi-sided viewing projection screen assembly and system thereof. In particular, the dynamic viewing and multi-sided viewing projection screen assembly includes a video projector screen, a bottom-support member, a top-support member coupled to the video projector screen. The bottom-support member is mounted to one or more bottom-mounting brackets applied to a bottom interior portion of the garage door, while the top member is detachably coupled to one or more top-mounting brackets applied to a top interior portion of the garage door, and the dynamic and multi-sided viewing projection screen assembly is configured to have a plurality of viewing modes of operations, including a first viewing mode of operation and a second viewing mode of operation for when the garage door is in a vertical, downward position or when the garage door is in a horizontal, upward position.
Garage door carrier system
A garage door carrier system carries an overhead garage door between a closed position blocking entry of a vehicle into a garage, and an open position allowing entry of the vehicle into the garage. The garage door is in rolling engagement with a track that guides the garage door. A lever, rotating about a pivot, has a counterweight at a first end and is rotatably connected to the garage door at a second opposite load end. The counterweight provides in-force at the first end that translates as out-force at the load end as the lever rotates about the pivot to carry the garage door between the closed position and the open position.
