Garage screen
A retractable dual screen system provides auxiliary environmental protection for garage door openings. An upper housing is mounted on an exterior of a garage door, including two rollers and is accessible for maintenance or repair by a removable cover. A first roller is a vinyl insect screening, and a second roller contains polyolefin material to provide an additional layer of insulation to help reduce heat loss and gain through the garage door. The second roller also provides a vapor barrier to help protect the garage door against high winds. A dual track system selectively allows both rollers to be independently deployed over the garage door opening.
Less Visible Coated Fibers and Less Visible Screens
The invention includes a meth of manufacturing an almost invisible coated monofilament, the coated monofilament, and a screen created using the almost invisible coated monofilaments. The method includes the step of selection a clear monofilament having a first perpendicular index of refraction, and selecting a clear elastomer coating having a second perpendicular index of refraction, where the two index of refraction are within 2% of one another. The monofilament is coated by extrusion coating using a tube die, where a vacuum is applied to the thread entrance or threadway of the extrusion system prior to coating.
Method for mounting a flexible-panel door to a door frame of a building
A flexible-panel door is mountable to a door frame. Opposite ends of a top rail are slidably engaged with end caps respectively affixed to ends of first and second side rails, and opposite ends of a bottom rail are likewise slidably engaged with end caps respectively affixed to opposite ends of the first and second side rails. With the first side rail secured to or in contact with the first side of the door frame, the second side rail is moved into contact with the second side of the door frame such that the top and bottom rails slide relative to at least one of their respective end caps such that each combination extends across the width of the door frame. A flexible panel carried by one of the first and second side rails is extendable toward the other of the first and second side rails.
Flap opening with zipper for screened enclosures and methods of making
Zippered curved screen flap access panels, systems, arrangements, kits and methods for making a zippered curved screen flap panels in order to access space on another side of a screen enclosure. In a preferred embodiment, the novel curved screen flap can be formed in a screen panel, where the panel is installed in an upper location of a screen cage such as in a roof section or upper wall section below or adjacent to a roof gutter. The panel can be easily unzipped with the flap hanging down so that the gutter can be easily accessed and cleaned through the access opening. After the gutter is cleaned, the flap can easily be zippered back in place with the screen material being retensioned.
SCREEN WITH MARKER
Products and devices are described for displaying a visible marker on a screen. Density patterns create the visible marker. The present disclosure also describes methods for manufacturing or displaying the visible marker on the screen.
Automatic operation of building window using magnetic fields
An apparatus and method for moving a window sash relative to a window frame. A window comprises a frame and a sash pivotally connected to the frame. A plurality of members are positioned between the sash and the frame, and the plurality of members are arranged in a series. A plurality of magnet sets comprise at least a first magnet operably connected to one member in the series of members and at least a second magnet operably connected to another member in the series of members. The first magnet is adjacent the second magnet, and at least one of the first or second magnets is an electromagnet. Energizing the electromagnets causes the members in the series of members to move relative to each other and causes the sash to move relative to the frame.
Decorative garage door screen assembly
A retractable decorative screen door assembly for installation in residential garage door openings for use in creating an appearance of a closed garage door in residential homeowners' associations where regulations and restrictions prohibit the appearance of an open garage door for an extended period of time. The screen is shaded with various patterns to provide the appearance of windows, panels and door frames.
INSECT SCREEN ASSEMBLY
The invention relates a covering assembly, such as an insect screen assembly, for a living space, a door or window, e.g. of a vehicle. The assembly includes an assembly frame and at least one movable beam, movable with respect to the assembly frame. The assembly includes a covering connected to the at least one movable beam, so as to be moved between a first and a second position. The covering includes a honeycomb covering.
REMOVABLE MESH SCREEN FOR A DOOR GATE
A gate for restricting access to and from an area includes a first post, a second post, a floor support member, and a gate door. The gate door includes a rigid frame and a mesh screen, the mesh screen including at least one panel adjacent a mesh portion of the mesh screen and at least one flap, the flap substantially encasing a portion of the frame and being configured to overlap the at least one panel. The gate door further includes an opening in at least one of the panel and flap and a screw socket having a socket portion fixedly coupled to either the flap or the overlapping panel, the screw socket further comprising a screw portion configured to pass through the opening and to couple to the socket portion. In addition, the gate includes a hook and loop fastener connection between the flap and the overlapping panel
Wire mesh and method for producing a coil for a wire mesh
A wire netting, in particular a safety net, includes a plurality of helices which are braided with one another and at least one of which is manufactured of at least one single wire, a wire bundle, a wire strand, a wire rope and/or another longitudinal element with at least one wire, and which includes at least one first leg, at least one second leg and at least one bending region connecting the first leg and the second leg to one another. In a longitudinal view in parallel to a longitudinal direction of the helix, the bending region includes at least one bending zone with a bending curvature and at least one first transition zone which is connected to the first leg and has a first transition curvature that differs from the bending curvature.
