Drilling tool support and method of collaring
A support includes a support element for supporting a drilling tool used in rock drilling. The support element is inside a suction housing of a rock drilling unit at least during drilling. The support is located at a front end portion of a feed beam and is used to support the tool especially during the collaring phase of the drilling. A method of collaring is disclosed wherein the drilling tool is supported by the support.
Inlet tube, rock drilling rig and method of sampling
An inlet tube of a sampling device, a rock drilling rig, and a method for taking samples is provided. The inlet tube is mountable to a dust collecting system of a rock drilling rig and is provided with at least one actively controllable homogenizing element forming a physical element for generating disturbance in flow and to thereby homogenize particle distribution of the drilling cuttings in the flow.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING A COLLAR REGION OF A BLAST HOLE DURING DRILLING
The invention relates to a bore hole drilling system and method. The system includes a mobile bore hole drilling platform including a mast disposed on the platform including a support for a drill string and a tube member for location within the collar region of a bore hole. The tube member includes an internal longitudinal passage for receiving a drill string therethrough and an external surface for facing outwardly against a wall of the bore hole. The system includes a coupling mechanism that is configured to couple and decouple the tube member and the drilling platform when the tube member is located coaxially within the collar region of the bore hole and substantially axially aligned with the drill string and/or the mast.
ADJUSTABLE CONTAINMENT ENVELOPE
A covering for a rig structure has plural segments separably connected together to form a loop to enclose a portion of a rig structure. Segments can be added or removed to adjust the size of the covering. A lower edge of the covering is connected around a containment basin suspended from the rig structure to contain fluids captured by the covering. An upper edge of the covering is connected to an adjustable frame suspended from the rig structure. The frame can be raised after the covering is attached to it to tauten the covering.
DRILLING DEVICE AND AUTOMATIC THROTTLE CONTROL PROGRAM
A drilling device is brought into an idling state by maintaining the engine speed at a first speed while waiting for a drilling operation. The engine speed is increased to a second speed that is higher than the first speed when any one of a rotation operation, a feeding operation, a rod exchange operation, or a boom operation is performed for a rock drill. The engine speed is increased to a third speed that is higher than the second speed when a striking operation or a flushing operation is performed, and the engine speed is decreased from the third speed to the first speed after the striking operation and the flushing operation finish. For example, the first speed is a low speed, the second speed is a medium speed, and the third speed is a high speed.
Device for extracting drilling sludge and the use thereof
A device for extracting drilling sludge for use at difficult to access locations on a building site includes a main body. The main body has a cavity on a lower side of the main body and a drilling sludge that is disposed in the cavity during a use of the device is extractable from the cavity by a suction device. The main body also has an extraction opening which opens into the cavity.

LIFTING ASSEMBLY FOR DUST CURTAIN OF WORK MACHINE
A lifting assembly for a dust curtain of a work machine includes a pair of mounting brackets. Each mounting bracket is coupled to a frame of the work machine. The lifting assembly also includes an arm assembly pivotally coupled to each mounting bracket and is movable relative to the mounting brackets between a first state in which the dust curtain is disposed in a lowered position and a second state in which the dust curtain is disposed in a lifted position. The arm assembly includes a first arm member and a second arm member. The first arm member includes a first linear portion and a first curved portion. The second arm member includes a second linear portion and a second curved portion. The lifting assembly further includes a lifting plate coupled to the dust curtain and a linkage assembly coupling the arm assembly with the lifting plate.
