FRAME RAIL ASSEMBLIES AND INTERLOCKING FRAME RAIL SYSTEMS
A boat dock structure includes an upper deck, sides extending downward from the upper deck, and a wheel bumper having a substantially round shape. The wheel bumper has a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being positioned under the upper deck, the second portion extending outward from the cutout portion of at least one of the sides to protect the boat dock and a boat from damage when the boat is docking at the boat dock adjacent to the wheel bumper. At least one of the sides may have a cutout portion.
Modular pier and attachment system for modular pier
The invention relates to a pier (10), a pier attachment system (1), a method for building the pier (10). The pier attachment system (1) is used for attaching a surface module (2) of the pier to a lower part (6) of the pier. The pier attachment system (1) comprises an attachment bracket (3), an attachment plug (4), and a surface module (2). The attachment plug (4) is adapted to extend between an aperture (21a) in a first surface module (2a) and an aperture (21b) in a second surface module (2b). The attachment bracket (3) is adapted to fasten the attachment plug (4) to a beam (5) of the lower part (6) of the pier and thereby fasten the surface modules (2) to the lower part of the pier (6).
COMPOSITE FLOOR STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A composite floor structure and method of making the same are disclosed. The composite floor structure may include a platform and a plurality of transverse beams. The composite floor structure may also include at least one longitudinal beam and a plurality of insert beams to accommodate the longitudinal beam. The composite floor structure may also include an underlayment between the plurality of transverse beams and the at least one longitudinal beam. Some or all of these components may be integrally molded together to form a fiber-reinforced polymer structure. The composite floor structure may be used for cargo vehicles and other applications.
Dock Management System
An apparatus manages a dock, a portion of which is disposed over a body of water, from a remote device. A control unit is disposed on the dock. A plurality of sensors is each in data communication with the control unit. Each of the plurality of sensors includes: an electric shock sensor; a water level sensor that senses a distance to the water from a predetermined location of the dock; and a theft detection circuit. A communication chipset is in data communication with the control unit. The control unit includes a processor that is programmed to transmit to the remote device via the communication chipset an indication of the following: a shock likelihood sensed by the electric shock sensor; a level detected by the water level sensor; and an alert when the theft detection circuit detects a likelihood of theft.
COUPLING DEVICE
Described are various embodiments for coupling devices for dock installations.
Dock mountable floatation mat storage assembly
A dock mountable floatation mat storage assembly includes a first mount and a second mount each attached to dock. Each of the first and second mounts includes a base that has an inward portion, an outward portion and a central portion positioned between the inward and outward portions. The inward portion has an aperture extending therethrough. A riser has a top end and a bottom end. The bottom end is attached to the outward portion of the base and extends upwardly away therefrom. A fastener extends through the aperture and through the dock such that the fastener releasably secures the base to the dock. A spindle is positioned on and extends between the top ends of the first and second mounts. The spindle is rotatable relative to the first and second mounts and engages a floating mat such that the floating mat is rolled upon and storable on the spindle.
A SEABED SUPPORTED UNIT AND METHOD TO PROVIDE A SHALLOW WATER DRILLING TERMINAL
Various embodiments relate to a method and a seabed supported base structure for providing a shallow water drilling terminal, where a prefabricated floating seabed substructure is towed to site, ballasted to rest on the seabed and/or piled to the seabed forming a seabed foundation. The seabed supported base structure is provided with at least one cantilevered unit with openings for drilling of wells, projecting sideways out from the exterior side of a vertical wall, terminated above sea level. A prefabricated floating drilling module provided with an outrigger with sidewise movable drilling device is towed to the site, guided into the seabed substructure through an opening in the wall structure at the periphery of the base structure, ballasted and mated onto the base structure, whereupon wells are drilled from a drilling gear. Upon completed drilling and operation of the wells, the drilling unit is removed and substituted by a production unit.
DOCKING SYSTEM WITH JOINT SUPPORTS
A set of components that can be used to construct a structurally sound dock are disclosed. The components can be extruded and the components are shaped such that interconnected components provide support for the other components thereby alleviating weak points due to welded only joints. A fascia channel provides additional strength by including structures that improve the vertical and horizontal strength of the fascia channel. HDPE plastic inserts and sheaves provide sound dampening for metal to metal contact points. Other components include a corner connector, a post system and a hinge system. The focus of this disclosure is the corner connector.
