ATTACHMENT SYSTEM FOR A WORK VEHICLE IMPLEMENT
20180238019 · 2018-08-23 · ·

An attachment system for a work vehicle implement includes an implement attachment assembly. The implement attachment assembly includes a support structure coupled to a receiver assembly. The support structure includes a first mounting feature configured to engage a first corresponding mounting feature extending downwardly from a bottom surface of a work vehicle, and a second mounting feature configured to engage a second corresponding mounting feature extending downwardly from the bottom surface of the work vehicle. The first and second mounting features of the support structure are spaced apart from one another along a longitudinal axis relative to a direction of travel of the work vehicle, and the first and second mounting features of the support structure are configured to substantially block horizontal and vertical movement of the support structure relative to the work vehicle via engagement with the first and second corresponding mounting features of the work vehicle.

IMPLEMENT MOUNTING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR MANAGING A CABLE USED FOR MOUNTING THE SAME TO A VEHICLE

An implement mounting assembly is mountable to a vehicle after having been positioned using a retractable cable. The implement mounting assembly has a frame defining a cable routing space, an attachment point to which the cable is attachable, and an auto-release cable management assembly including a hook, first and second underside guide surfaces for guiding the cable towards the hook as the cable retracts, and a gate. The gate is positioned with respect to the hook to be movable between open and closed positions in which the hook is accessible and inaccessible to the cable. The gate is biased towards the closed position. When a tension in the cable is above a threshold tension, the gate moves into the open position and the cable accesses the hook, and when the tension decreases to below the threshold tension, the gate moves towards the closed position releasing the cable from the hook.

FRAME ASSEMBLY FOR SUPPORTING AN IMPLEMENT ON A VEHICLE

A frame assembly for supporting an implement on a vehicle includes a support frame attachable to the vehicle, a lever pivotable on the support frame between a first and second positions, and a biasing assembly connecting the lever to the support frame. The implement is connectable to the lever via an implement support frame. The biasing assembly is movable between an extended position and a compressed position and is biased toward the extended position. The lever and the biasing assembly define an acute angle that opens toward the vehicle when the support frame is removably attached to the vehicle and the lever is in the first position.

Swing arm idler rise height adjustment

An idler wheel recoil assembly mounts an idler wheel to a roller frame of an undercarriage of a track-type machine. The idler wheel recoil assembly includes a recoil shaft and spring mounted on the roller frame for reciprocal movement of the recoil shaft, and a swing arm pivotally connected to a guard mounted on the roller frame by a guard mounting assembly and having the idler wheel rotatably mounted thereon. A yoke is pivotally connected between the recoil shaft and the swing arm. A guard mounting assembly connects the guard to the roller frame of the undercarriage and has a plurality of mounting positions for securing the guard to the roller frame, with an idler rise height of the idler wheel relative to the roller frame being different when the guard is secured to the roller frame in each of the plurality of mounting positions of the guard mounting assembly.

TRAILING MACHINE FOR THE LEVELLING OF GROUND AND ROADS

A reconfigurable box blade includes a box frame that includes a left sidewall, a right sidewall, and a scraping blade that spans laterally between the left sidewall and the right sidewall. The reconfigurable box blade also includes a means for attaching the box frame to a vehicle. The reconfigurable box blade has a first configuration and a second configuration. The first configuration includes the scraping blade being in contact with a ground surface, and, a longest dimension of the box blade oriented substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The second configuration includes the scraping blade being out of contact with the ground surface and the longest dimension of the box frame being substantially aligned with the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.

Adapter assemblies and methods for mounting implements and accessories to passenger vehicles therewith

An adapter assembly includes upper and lower crossbars that are horizontally oriented and spaced vertically apart from each other, with each of the upper and lower crossbars having oppositely-disposed outboard ends. A pair of L-shaped brackets and a spacer bracket are mounted adjacent each outboard end of each of the upper and lower crossbars and horizontally orient and space the upper and lower crossbars vertically apart from each other. The pair of L-shaped brackets having lower legs configured to couple with the mount attached to the frame of the vehicle. The adapter assembly is adapted to couple with existing mounts installed on passenger vehicles, such as mounts adapted for the attachment of snow plows, to permit the attachment of a wide variety of implements and accessories to the front ends of such vehicles.

Piste grooming vehicle and clearing blade for a piste grooming vehicle of this type

Piste grooming vehicle and clearing blade for a piste grooming vehicle. The piste grooming vehicle has a clearing blade arranged at the front and includes a middle part and two side parts swivellably movable relative to the middle part, a setting arrangement for adjusting the middle part and/or the side parts and at least one manually operable actuating element arranged inside a cab for operating the setting arrangement. An electronic control unit is connected between the actuating element and the setting arrangement and operates the setting arrangement with a timed sequence of control commands for achieving at least one control function for the side parts and/or the middle part from an initial position to an end position preset by the control function.

Apparatus and method for enhanced grading control

A rollered grading assembly, including an elongated roller drum, an axle extending through the drum, an elongated housing partially enclosing the drum and connected to the axle, an elongated blade connected to the housing, a pivot rod perpendicular to the axle and connected to the housing, a coupler connected to the housing, and a pivot actuator connected to the coupler and housing. The coupler has a proximal end connected to the housing portion and positioned adjacent the roller drum and a spaced distal end extending away from the housing. Movement of the distal end a first distance while the proximal end remains stationary urges the housing to pivot around the drum and move the blade portion a second, shorter distance into a desired position relative grade.
