The faucet illustratively includes an electronic flow control system to adjust flow volume and temperature of water being dispensed. The faucet illustratively includes a controller configured to receive signals from the inertial motion unit sensor and control the electronic flow control system to adjust flow volume and temperature of water being dispensed based upon the position of the faucet handle.

THERMOSTATIC MIXER WITH SINGLE CONTROL LEVER
20210325918 · 2021-10-21 · ·

A thermostatic mixer, including manually adjusting means to adjust the inflow rates of hot water and cold water in the mixer, operable by the user, and automatic adjusting means to adjust the temperature of the mixed water delivered by the mixer, adjustable by the user, is described. The user manually adjusts the flow rate and sets the desired temperature of the mixed water; the temperature is feedback controlled by automatic thermostat means. The mixer includes a single control lever operable by the user to control both the manually adjusting means to adjust the inflow rates of hot and cold water and the automatic adjusting means to adjust the temperature of the mixed water. In order to facilitate adjusting of the temperature, the mixer includes a gear mechanism functionally interposed between the control lever and the adjusting shaft of the automatic adjusting means to adjust the temperature of the mixed water.

Faucet handle hub

A handle assembly for an in-wall plumbing fixture includes a control valve having a rough plumbing attachment interface that is configured to connect to a rough valve. The control valve includes a control stem having a first number of teeth. The assembly includes a lever handle, with a second number of teeth that is different than the first number of teeth, and which is configured for attachment to the control valve. An adapter couples the control stem to the lever handle. The adapter has a set of adapter internal teeth corresponding in number to the first number of teeth and a set of adapter external teeth corresponding in number to the second number of teeth. The adapter can be included in an adjustment kit to align the handle lever.

Electronic plumbing fixture fitting including preset feature

The present invention provides an electronic plumbing fixture fitting including a preset feature.

SWITCHING TECHNOLOGY FOR FAUCETS
20210293006 · 2021-09-23 ·

A set of universal switching modules is provided for mechanical touch faucets. The switching modules afford the same operational benefits and features as an electronic faucet without the necessity of resort to an electrical power supply, eliminating the need for electronic control circuitry, and simplifying installation while increasing long term operational reliability. The switching modules are activated by a linear depressing or a rocking motion that contrasts with rotary motions associated with rotating a valve stem. The switching module designs are agnostic to the faucet design meaning that the switching modules are universal in that the modules fit any faucet design. The switching modules work with a variety of activation methods used in faucet design illustratively including rocker switch concepts, push concepts, and a horizontal/perpendicular push concepts. Faucet manufacturers purchase a module based on the type of activation that they prefer for seamless integration in their faucet design.

BRIDGE-STYLE FAUCET FOR SINGLE-HOLE INSTALLATION
20210246638 · 2021-08-12 · ·

A faucet configured for single-hole installation includes a center body within which a connector body defining hot and cold water inlets and an outlet is supported. A pair of side bodies are attached to the center body about opposite sides of the center body. Bridges including flow paths extend between and connect each side body to the center body. A valve supported within the first side body fluidly couples the hot water inlet with the outlet via the flow path of the first bridge responsive to rotation of a handle supported by the first side body. A valve supported within the second side body fluidly couples the cold water inlet with the outlet via the flow path of the second bridge responsive to rotation of a handle supported by the second side body.

SINGLE-HAND OPERATED FAUCET

Disclosed herein is a faucet including a housing, inlet and outlet ports associated with the housing, a faucet cartridge having hot and cold water inlets for receiving respective flows of hot and cold water through the inlet port, a mixed water outlet, and a mixing chamber disposed between the hot and cold water inlets and the mixed water outlet for liquid flow communication therebetween, a flow guide connected to the mixed water outlet of the faucet cartridge, for guiding an outflow of water therefrom to the outlet port so as to prevent the outflow of water from contacting the housing, and a sealing element configured to create a sealed interface between the faucet cartridge and the flow guide so as to prevent leakage.

Faucet including capacitive sensors for hands free fluid flow control

A faucet comprises a spout, a passageway that conducts water flow through the spout, and an electrically operable valve disposed within the passageway. A first capacitive sensor has a first detection field that generates a first output signal upon detection of a user's hands in the first detection field, and a second capacitive sensor has a second detection field that generates a second output signal upon detection of a user's hands in the second detection field. A controller is coupled to the first and second capacitive sensors and the electrically operable valve.

Faucet handle with angled interface

A faucet assembly including a handle that rotates about a rotational axis extending perpendicular to an angled interface for adjusting a first water parameter. A dial is supported for rotation independent of the handle for adjusting a second water parameter.
