LAUNDRY TREATING APPLIANCE AND METHOD
A laundry treating appliance and method of initiating a sanitization cycle in a laundry treating appliance includes sensing at least one of a presence of an article within a sanitizing compartment, an identification of the article within the sanitizing compartment, or a chemical property within the sanitizing compartment, and determining, in a controller, a need for initiating a sanitization cycle.
DISINFECTANT DEVICE CASES FOR INTRAORAL APPLIANCES
Apparatuses for sanitizing and/or sterilizing a dental/orthodontic appliance are described herein. These apparatuses may include an internal chamber in which one or more sanitizing/sterilizing modes, such as UV light (e.g., UVC light), ultrasound, heat, etc. may be applied to an appliance.
DEVICE TO DISINFECT ITEMS ON A CONVEYOR USING ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
A disinfecting device using ultraviolet light is configured to sit on top of an existing conveyor belt or rollers. The disinfecting device has a housing, an inlet, an outlet, a plurality of rollers within the housing, one or more disinfecting lights positioned above the rollers, and at least one disinfecting light positioned beneath the rollers. The plurality of rollers carry the item upward, passing over at least one disinfecting light while other disinfecting lights are positioned above the item. The item is then returned to the conveyor belt to continue onward.
RECORDING DEVICE
A recording device includes: a medium accommodation portion configured to accommodate a plurality of media; a feeding portion configured to send out the media from the medium accommodation portion; a recording section configured to perform recording on the media sent out from the medium accommodation portion; an ultraviolet-light emitting portion provided at a position opposed to the medium accommodation portion and configured to emit ultraviolet light toward the media accommodated in the medium accommodation portion; and a control unit configured to control the ultraviolet-light emitting portion to emit ultraviolet light to the media by utilizing a period before the feeding portion starts to feed the media.
MOBILE TELEPHONE CASE STERILIZING MEANS
A mobile telephone case has sanitizing systems incorporated within a case body capable of projecting sanitizing elements onto front side and back sides of the case for clearing the case. A control means is in electrical communication between the sanitizing systems and a power supply. Sets of nozzles located on front and rear sides pumps the sanitizing elements from a sanitizing solution reservoir in the case. Sets of UV-C LED lamps may also be located on front and rear sides of the case for further sanitizing the phone.
DEVICE TO DISINFECT SPORTS BALLS USING ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
A disinfectant device can disinfect sports balls, such as basketballs, soccer balls, and volleyballs in an efficient manner, and may store the balls in a similar manner as current storage devices in the art. The disinfectant device for sports balls has a housing, a ball inlet, a plurality of rails, a plurality of disinfecting lights within the housing, and a ball outlet. The balls remain within the housing so as to be sufficiently exposed to UV light and thereby disinfected, and are advanced and released from the housing one at a time via an advancement mechanism.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR SANITIZATION
A system to sanitize a surface includes an emitter. The emitter of the system to sanitize the surface includes: a light source configured to generate light at a sanitizing wavelength; a receiver configured to receive a wireless signal; and a processing circuit for the emitter configured to turn the light source on, turn the light source off, and adjust an intensity of light generated by the light source depending on the wireless signal. The system to sanitize the surface further includes a sensor. The sensor of the system to sanitize the surface includes: a photoelectric transducer configured to convert light at the sanitizing wavelength to a current; and a processing circuit for the sensor powered by the current and in communication with a transmitter to transmit the wireless signal, the processing circuit for the sensor being configured to control emission of the wireless signal depending on a power level supplied by the current.
Automated Chemical Injection Device
A system for automizing an injection of a chemical treatment into an effluent drain line may include a containment tank, an injection pump disposed within the containment tank, at least one level switch disposed on or inside the containment tank, a flow line disposed at least partially within the containment tank, at least one flow meter disposed along the flow line, and a microcontroller. The microcontroller is configured to: maintain an off-time cycle, transmit a signal to the injection pump to pump a volume of chemical treatment stored in the containment tank into the flow line after the off-time cycle ends, track the volume of chemical treatment passing through the flow line with the at least one flow meter to produce a flow rate, inject the volume of chemical treatment from the flow line into an effluent drain line, track a current volume of the containment tank with the at least one level, and restart the off-time cycle.
DECONTAMINATION SYSTEMS
The present disclosure provides decontamination system that includes a decontamination chamber for sealably holding one or more items for decontamination. The system also includes a decontamination unit comprising: a controllable air heater and humidity control unit to controllably heat an ambient air source and to control a temperature and humidity of air within a decontamination chamber; a controllable vaporizer unit to controllably vaporize one or more decontamination agents by combining the controllably heated ambient air with the one or more decontamination agents; and controller circuitry to control a controllable air heater and humidity control unit to heat the ambient air to a selected level, and to maintain a selected heat and humidity within the decontamination chamber, and to control the controllable vaporizer unit to provide a selected flow rate of the one or more decontamination agents into the decontamination chamber.
Tennis Balls Sanitizing Machine
COVID-19 and many other infectious diseases like Flu can spread through by touch. Tennis player exchange the same balls multiple times during the practice or game. For student's safety schools and colleges currently sanitize the balls manually which is a tedious and time taking job. This invention sanitizes the bunch of tennis balls in one go with the push of a buttons and a Knob which control the speed of motor vibration.
