A modular fluid dispensing system includes a rigid bottle and multiple swappable base units. The modular fluid dispensing system includes a bottle housing to house a rigid bottle, a dispenser to dispense the fluid, and an attachment mechanism to reversibly affix the modular fluid dispensing system to a support structure. The bottle housing includes a threaded fastener to form a seal with the rigid bottle and a puncturing taper to puncture a seal of the rigid bottle. The dispenser includes a pump to initiate flow of the fluid from the rigid bottle and out a nozzle in response to a command signal from a sensor. The dispenser also includes a vacuum break port to allow an external fluid to replace the fluid in the bottle and prevent formation of a vacuum.

A cleaning device for a tomography device, in particular an MRT, has an examination tunnel. The sterilisation apparatus comprises: a microwave source arranged to generate microwave energy; a mist generator arranged to generate a flow of water mist; a gas supply; a manifold connected to receive the flow of water mist from the mist generator; and a plurality of plasma applicators connected to the manifold, wherein each plasma applicator is connected to receive microwave energy from the microwave source and a flow of gas from the gas supply, wherein each plasma applicator is configured to strike a plasma at a distal end thereof, wherein the distal ends of the plurality of plasma applicators are disposed in a plasma generating region defined by the manifold, and wherein the manifold is configured to direct the flow of water mist through the plasma generating region to an outlet thereof.

Provided is an adapter for connection to a spray can dispensing an oil-containing aerosol. The adapter comprises a timepiece configured to measure a predetermined time interval, the starting point of the time measurement being defined by the start of a spraying process of the spray can; and an indicating element configured to indicate to the user, once the predetermined time interval has expired, to end the spraying process. In one aspect, a system for generating and monitoring an antimicrobial is provided, the system including: a microprocessor and/or a microcontroller; an external communications device; a computational system; an antimicrobial sensor and/or an environmental sensor; and an antimicrobial generator, wherein the external communications device, the computational system, the antimicrobial generator, and the antimicrobial sensor and/or the environmental sensor are operatively connected to the microprocessor and/or the microcontroller. The system may further include a separate sensor sub-system comprising: a sensor sub-system microprocessor and/or a sensor sub-system microcontroller; a sensor sub-system external communications device; a sensor sub-system antimicrobial sensor and/or a sensor sub-system environmental sensor; and a sensor sub-system computational system. The system may further include a separate generation sub-system comprising: a generation sub-system microprocessor and/or a generation sub-system microcontroller; a generation sub-system external communications device; and a generation sub-system antimicrobial generator.

The present invention has been derived from the ubiquitous automatic hand dryer, but including also a spraying system to sanitize the dried hands. The hollow spraying & drying chamber with hundreds ventilator outlets and multiple spray nozzles functions as a closed-loop, air-recycling system: The drying air is pressed towards the surface of the inserted hands in a down-stream angle; this downstream being enforced by the ventilator aspirating the air from the bottom outlet of the spraying & drying chamber. In contrast to the ubiquitous automatic hand dryer, the casing is closed, completely on the side walls and leaving only small openings at the higher-end side, large enough to insert the hands and suck-in air from above. With this closed chamber and the air-stream from outside above downward along the hand's surface, any emission of air-water droplets as aerosols, upward and to the environment, against the incoming air-stream, is impossible.

An apparatus includes at least one storage tank configured to store a disinfectant/sanitization solution, at least one pump connected to the at least one storage tank to distribute the disinfectant/sanitization solution via a piping system, at least one valve in communication with the piping system to open and close to control flow of the disinfectant/sanitization solution, at least one device to control the flow of the disinfectant/sanitization solution for a particular period of time to at least one misting nozzle, and the at least one misting nozzle in communication with the piping system and the at least one valve to mist a particular area with the disinfectant/sanitization solution.

A system and method for cleaning, rinsing, and sanitizing a container is disclosed. The system has a sanitizing agent chamber for storing a sanitizing agent, the one or more solution chambers in fluid communication with the container, a pump in fluid commination with the sanitizing agent, wherein the pump is in communication with a gas, and at least one spray nozzle fluidly connected to the at least one solution chamber via a conduit positioned within the container, wherein the spray nozzle comprises a housing inside which the sanitizing agent is mixed at pressure with the gas to disperse the sanitizing agent and gas mixture into the container for sanitizing the container.
