10036155 · 2018-07-31 · ·

A building system comprising a plurality of tubes, a plurality of connection nodes comprising tubular sections for connection to the tubes, wherein the tubes are arranged to connect between the connection nodes to form a frame for a building, wherein at least one continuous cavity is formed through at least a portion of the nodes and tubes when the nodes and tubes are connected, the building system further comprising fluid tight seals between the tubes and connection nodes to enable fluid to flow through the at least one continuous cavity.

Method of forming a three-dimensional structure having rigid wall panels

A method of forming a three-dimensional frame structure is provided. The structure includes a plurality of rigid wall panels that are adhesively secured to components of a system. The components are specially designed to allow for adjusting the dimensions of a wall panel. The method generally comprises providing a series of corner castings, and providing a series of linear extrusion members. The method also includes connecting the series of corner castings and the plurality of linear extrusion members to form a three-dimensional frame, and adhesively securing rigid wall panels to the three-dimensional frame to form the frame structure. The rigid panels may include porcelain ceramic tiles, natural stone tiles, or other panels.

Fastening means

Fastening means, a preferred embodiment of which is shown in FIG. 2, hasajoist 1 and a locking member 5. The joist 1 has a channel and locking extensions and the locking member 5 has a base 6 and an upstand 7. The base 6 has rounded corners 10. The fastening means is formed such that when it is in use the locking member 5 can be slid into the channel and rotated therein to assume a locking position, such rotation made possible by the rounded corners 10 which, when in use, serve to prevent a rotational impasse between the joist 1 and the locking member 5. The fastening means is formed such that when the locking member is in the locking position it is in a tight fit within the channel and cannot pull out of the channel by reason of obstruction by the locking extensions.

LATTICE TOWER

This invention relates to lattice tower for actuate under high load conditions, more particularly to lattice towers utilized for wind turbines and other applications comprising three metallic legs arranged in a triangular configuration around a vertical axis of the lattice tower, wherein each metallic leg has a closed cross-section profile, a distance between the center of metallic legs in a bottom portion of the tower is greater than 4 meters, an angle of inclination of a central longitudinal axis of each metallic leg in relation to the vertical axis of the tower is between 1.7 degree and +1.7 degrees, and the height of the lattice tower is greater than 60 meters, a plurality of bracing members and auxiliary bracing members and a support platform disposed at a top portion of the tower.

Insulation system for portable buildings

An insulation system for portable buildings preferably includes a plurality of support struts, a plurality of cross tube clamps and a ceiling sheet. The support strut is preferably a tube having a length, which is substantially equal to a distance between two adjacent rafters. Three support struts are attached to bottom support tubes of two adjacent rafters with two cross tube clamps. The three support struts may also be attached to vertical support tubes of two adjacent rafters with two in-line cross tube clamps. Opposing edges of the ceiling sheet are attached to the bottom support tubes or the vertical support tubes of the two adjacent rafters with at least two sheet clamps. An insulation retention member is placed adjacent a top of the ceiling sheet to prevent insulation from sliding down the ceiling sheet. Two adjacent insulation retention members may be secured to each other with a joining device.

METAL DECKING

In one implementation, a metal deck is provided that includes a plurality of deck components formed in a contiguous metal sheet. Each of the deck components includes a plurality of folded ribs formed along the length of the metal deck. Each of the plurality of folded ribs are configured such that one or more trusses of a building may fit between the plurality of folded ribs. The metal deck may be used to complete the structural diaphragm without using concrete.

Structure having convertible roof and walls

A movable enclosure is configured to selectively enclose an area. The enclosure includes at least one side wall and an end wall attached thereto. The side wall comprises a number of individual panels that are independently movable along a track secured to the ground. The panels are selectively collapsible such that they may travel along the track and overlap one another when in a collapsed or stowed position. The enclosure may be configured in any number of intermediate positions wherein the panels are partially collapsed. Roof panels may be attached to the side walls for movement therewith, or alternatively, the roof panels may operate independent of the side walls to extend and retract between an open and collapsed configuration.
