Pour Stop Anchor Apparatus And System
Apparatus are provided for a curtain wall anchor system. The curtain wall anchor assembly may include various anchor configurations. Each anchor embodiment is intended to reduce labor time and costs and eliminate extraneous steps in the construction process involving curtain walls. Each possible anchor assembly also features an optional component of attaching a concrete anchor for optimizing load paths and solving issues of bending in traditional edge angle pour stops.
Formwork panel
A formwork panel for forming adjacent concrete bodies, wherein the formwork panel is adapted to be compressible on expansion of the concrete bodies. The formwork panel may be substantially planar to be in a plane substantially perpendicular to a travel surface formed by upper surfaces of the concrete bodies. The formwork panel may be extruded and may have at least one internal void to facilitate sacrificial compression of the formwork panel on expansion of the concrete bodies.
RISER ASSEMBLY
A riser assembly for construction of riser apertures in concrete floors comprises a frame member with a channel forming a shutter. A joist spanning the riser aperture is connected to the channel with a fixing which can slide axially within the channel when connected to the joist. A method of constructing the riser aperture is also disclosed, permitting the adjustment of the position of the joist by sliding the joist axially along the channel after the riser aperture is formed. Upper and lower walls of the channel converge to form a dovetail, which anchors the channel along its length within the settable material forming the floor around the riser, and also helps to retain the fixing within the channel.
CONNECTION SYSTEM AND STIFFENING TEMPLATE
A connection system for providing a construction joint between a first concrete component and a second concrete component, the connection system including a rebate former for forming a rebate in a first concrete component, wherein the rebate former has a backing, and the connection system further includes a plurality of anchors coupled to the backing and at least one stiffening template mounted to the backing to prevent or at least reduce sag of the rebate former.
Building facade system and method of forming a building facade
A building facade system which comprises an anchor. The anchor having a flange extending in a first horizontal direction and serrations along a portion thereof. A vertical mullion being held in shear and secured by shear connection to the anchor to support horizontal members forming a frame for supporting a building facade panel. The shear connection formed by a fastener coupling the anchor to an outside lateral surface of the vertical mullion. The fastener extending in the second horizontal direction through the anchor and the vertical mullion. The angle member having first and second flanges having proximal ends joined together and opposing terminal ends. The second flange being engageable with the flange of the anchor by way of a vertically-oriented coupling securing the flange of the anchor and the angle member. The angle member being securable to a building floor slab and supporting the anchor thereon.
