Polymer pre-laid waterproof rolling material

A polymer pre-laid waterproof rolling material, including a polymer base material layer, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the polymer base material layer, and a sand anti-sticking layer on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer; the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer includes: 25-35 parts by mass of a styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer; 32-38 parts by mass of a C5 petroleum resin; 5-12 parts by mass of a 145 pentaerythritol modified rosin resin; 25-32 parts by mass of a naphthenic oil; 0.3 parts by mass of an antioxidant; and 0.5 parts by mass of a UV light stabilizer; the C5 petroleum resin has a softening point of 95-105° C. and a color number of less than 4; the naphthenic oil has a kinematic viscosity of 9-11 mm.sup.2 at 100° C. and a density of 0.8950 g/cm.sup.3-0.9100 g/cm.sup.3 at 20° C. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a stronger bonding effect with sintered sand and further improves the bonding effect with concrete.

FULLY-ADHERED ROOF SYSTEM ADHERED AND SEAMED WITH A COMMON ADHESIVE

A roof system comprising a roof substrate, a first membrane including first and second opposed planar surfaces, and a second membrane including opposed first and second planar surfaces, where said second membrane is adhered to said roof substrate through an adhesive disposed on said roof-substrate contacting portion of the first membrane, and where said second membrane is adhered to said first membrane through said adhesive disposed on a lap portion of said second membrane.

MEMBRANE INSTALLATION METHODS

A method includes obtaining a roofing membrane. A first layer of the roofing membrane is applied along a length of a roofing substrate covering a first portion of the roofing substrate. At least a first edge of the first layer is fastened to the roofing substrate. A second layer of the roofing membrane is applied over the first layer along the length of the roofing substrate such that a first edge of the second layer overlies the second edge of the first layer. The first edge of the second layer and the second edge of the first layer are fastened to the roofing substrate using a second fastener in a fastening zone along the length the roofing substrate. The second layer is reoriented such that the second layer overlies the fastening zone and covers a second portion of the roofing substrate adjacent the first portion of the roofing substrate.

Method for covering roof with shrink wrap

A system and method for temporary protection of a damaged roof is provided. The system and method for covering at least a portion of a roof with an impermeable membrane comprises a method that includes placing a strip of the impermeable membrane over the portion of the roof intended to be covered, cutting a length of the strip to accommodate a size of the portion of the roof intended to be covered, draping an end of the strip over a fascia of eaves of the roof, placing elongated construction material on the end of the strip contacting fascia of eaves of the roof, attaching the elongated construction material to the fascia of eaves of the roof using a plurality of fasteners, and repeating the steps above until the portion of the roof is covered in the impermeable membrane.

The invention provides a generally horizontal roof deck having a corner and two parapet walls meeting at the corner. A roofing membrane has a major portion adhered to the roof deck and a side portion adhered to the first parapet wall and an end portion adhered to the second parapet wall. A bead of caulk is located between the side portion and the end portion and a respective parapet wall. Termination bars are affixed to the each of the parapet walls by axially driven pins that capture the termination bars on top of the respective side or end portions along their upper edges. Also disclosed is a method for constructing a roof deck using termination bars and axially driven pins that do not require predrilled holes.
