FLOORING PANEL EQUIPPED WITH QUICK-RELEASE ADHESIVE SHEET AND METHODS FOR MAKING SAME
20240410182 · 2024-12-12 · ·

A flooring panel is provided with a quick-release adhesive sheet such that the flooring panel can be quickly attached to a support surface and removed therefrom. More particularly, the flooring panel includes a top floor layer attached or laminated to the adhesive sheet, which underlies the floor layer. The top flooring layer can be any type of flooring material, such as vinyl flooring, real or engineered wood flooring, etc.

Device for surface covering

A device includes a substrate (20), a first adhesive (33), and a carrier layer (50). The substrate has a finish layer (40). The substrate has sufficient flexibility to allow manual rolling and to allow manual unrolling without damage. The substrate has a plurality of discontinuous segments (70A, 70B, 70C). The first adhesive is disposed on an opposing side of the finish layer. The first adhesive is configured for pressure sensitive bonding. The first adhesive has a release characteristic such that the substrate can be bonded and disbonded relative to a substantially planar surface and incur no damage. The carrier layer (50) is bonded to the finish layer by a second adhesive (55). The second adhesive is configured to retain the plurality of discontinuous segments infixed spatial alignment. The second adhesive is configured to cleanly disbond from the finish layer by manual peeling.

EXTERIOR POLYMER-BASED BRICK BUILDING MATERIAL
20170268230 · 2017-09-21 ·

A simulated brick includes a polymeric core member and a laminate adhered to the core member. The core member and the laminate together define a brick profile portion having first and second lateral sides extending to a planar outer surface to define a first thickness, an offset portion extending from the first lateral side of the brick profile portion to a lateral end surface and having an outer surface defining a second thickness smaller than the first thickness, and a rectangular base surface extending from the second lateral side of the brick profile portion to the lateral end surface of the offset portion. The laminate covers the core member to define the first and second lateral sides and the outer surface of the brick profile portion, and the lateral end surface and the outer surface of the offset portion, and the core member is uncovered by the laminate on the base surface such that the core member defines the base surface.

Natural rock panel, natural rock veneer panel and panel support apparatus

An architectural finish element operable to be placed adjacent similar architectural finish elements to form a finished surface on an architectural structure includes a body formed of a rock-based composite material comprising a low density solid particle additive, a plurality of unitary real stone veneer elements bonded to the body in courses extending in a first direction and in a random non-repetitive pattern, the real stone veneer elements having respective face surfaces generally lying in a plane to form an overall face surface of the architectural finish element. The low density solid particle additive is provided in an amount suitable to cause the architectural finish element to have a density of between about 10 to 15 pounds per square foot. The architectural finishing element may be mounted by mounting a portion of a body of at least one dual architectural finish element support to a surface of an architectural structure.

Floor-transition setting systems

A modular system for setting flooring transitions with adequate pressure during setup and curing of adhesive. The floor-transition-setting system includes a plurality of members such as a connector-body, a plurality of extension-bodies, a plurality of leg-members, and a plurality of pressure-feet. The connector-tubular-body being in functional and adjustable combination with each of the plurality of female-push-button-couplers. Each of the plurality of extension-bodies has a male-push-button-adjuster-coupler and an extension-tubular-body. The system may include one or more assemblies and may be configured without the use of tools.

Exterior polymer-based brick building material

A simulated brick includes a polymeric core member, a mesh layer adhered to the core member, a basecoat layer covering an entirety of the mesh layer, and a finish layer covering an entirety of the basecoat layer. The core member, the mesh layer, the basecoat layer, and the finish layer together define a brick profile portion having first and second lateral sides extending to a planar outer surface to define a first thickness, and an offset portion extending from the first lateral side of the brick profile portion to a lateral end surface and having an outer surface defining a second thickness smaller than the first thickness, the brick profile portion and the offset portion together defining a planar rectangular base surface extending from the second lateral side of the brick profile portion to the lateral end surface of the offset portion.

FIBER ENFORCED THIN BRICK SHEET AND PROCESS
20170159298 · 2017-06-08 ·

A fiber enforced sheet for use as a wall or floor covering which comprises of adhered thin bricks bonded to a fiber-reinforced, backing layer. Thin brick is adhered to the fiber enforced sheet. The fiber enforced backing increases strength and rigidity to the thin brick during handling, and installation permits the thin bricks to be adhered to proper specification and spacing to be cut using ordinary tile or thin brick tools.
