A modular raised floor module and raised floor systems constructed therefrom are disclosed. The raised floor module comprising a base floor and a top floor, with a plurality of support pedestals disposed between the base floor and a top floor, wherein the plurality of support pedestals are configured for supporting and leveling the base floor above a bearing surface and for supporting the top floor at a spaced apart relation over the base floor, thereby forming a service space extending between a top face of the base floor and a bottom face of the top floor. The raised floor modules are articulable to one another along their neighboring edges. The base floor can be configured with an inclined surface for draining liquids within the service space towards a liquid collecting portion, for removing liquids from the service space.

Precast modular structural building method
11306473 · 2022-04-19 ·

The present invention is a modular structural building method consisting of prefabricated, precast, composite reinforced concrete raised floor and steel beam panels with adjustable levelling connection assemblies between panels, supported by columns. The system has the ability to accommodate the use of the floor by construction personnel during the on-site assembly process. The perimeter of the raised floor slab can be provided with ducts for a field installed conventional reinforcement means to create a continuous structural diaphragm for the floor panel.

LOAD BEARING RAISED FLOORING SYSTEM PANEL WITH INTEGRATED LOAD EXCESS INDICATOR

A load bearing raised flooring system panel, having an integrated pressure sensitive layer adapted to generate a visual indication when excess load is applied to the load bearing raised flooring system panel. The pressure sensitive layer determines how much pressure (or load) is applied to the load bearing raised flooring system panel, and upon detecting pressure above a threshold, indicative of excess load, a visual indication is generated and displayed on the load bearing raised flooring system panel.

A mat assembly includes a center section and four ramps that create a unitary mat assembly for any desired use. The center section includes a top plate that provides the desired kind of mat surface for use and a sponge layer underlying the top plate to provide the center section with a cushioned feel during use. Each ramp includes a flange that extends from an end portion of the ramp, the flange configured to be joined between the top plate and sponge insert. The ramps can be joined to each other using a connector or a mitered connection.

IMPROVED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURING ELEMENTS TO A SURFACE
20230392386 · 2023-12-07 ·

A system and a method are provided for securing an element (50) to a support surface (70). The system comprises at least one rail member (10), a mounting part (20) and the element. The rail member comprises a lower face (11) at least partially contacting the support surface, opposed to an upper face (12) and connected thereto by opposed lateral walls (14, 15) thereby to define a box section. Each lateral wall projects above the upper surface and an edge portion thereof forms an inward flange to define a substantially C-profiled rail with the upper surface. The mounting part (20) comprises a base plate, is substantially rectangular, made at least partially of a resilient material and dimensioned complementarily with the rail member, such that a width of the base plate corresponds at least to a distance intermediate the opposed lateral walls and a thickness of the base plate corresponds at least to a distance intermediate the upper face of the rail member and an underside of the flange, the at least partial resiliency of the base plate causing the mounting part to compress for sliding between the opposed rails and to decompress for achieving an interference fit. The base plate of the mounting part (20) comprises a topside (22) bearing at least a pair of upward feet (26A, 26B), each foot being configured on a same face with at least one tenon projecting orthogonally thereto. The or each element (50) has a lower face configured with at least two recesses (56A, 56B), each recess comprising a groove dimensioned for engagement with the or each tenon of a respective foot in use.

SIDEWALL-CONNECTED HVAC UNITS FOR MODULAR DATACENTER FACILITIES

A modular datacenter facility and a method thereof is provided in accordance with some embodiments. The module datacenter facility can be constructed with an initial set of building modules of different types of functionality. A first building module can be a data-floor building module. A first set of sidewall-connected heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (“HVAC”) units can connect to a sidewall of the modular datacenter facility and use electrical power provided by a first electrical power distribution building module to supply conditioned air into an air-supply plenum of the sidewall to cool computing systems housed in the data-floor building module. The first set of the sidewall-connected HVAC units allow for fewer penetrations in a roof of the data-floor building module, thereby minimizing an amount of leaks potentially occurring in the roof of the ceiling, and thereby minimizing risk of any damage to the computing systems.
