MULTIPORT PUMP AND ADAPTER KIT
A multiport pump and adapter kit for use with a water circulation system for a body of water includes a centrifugal pump assembly having a plurality of outlet ports oriented in different directions and at least one adapter having a first open end configured and dimensioned to be removably connectable to one of said outlet ports, a second open end configured and dimensioned to be removably connectable to a water circulation system, and a hollow body connecting the first open end and the second open end.
Methods, systems, and devices for providing communications capabilities to equipment of swimming pools and spas
Communications capabilities are supplied to components of pool water recirculation systems, even if the components lack electrical power or supply wires. Capabilities may be furnished by wireless RF devices that connect to existing fittings or ports of the components, for example. The devices are configured to obtain desired information relating to the components (or the water within them) and transmit the information remotely for processing or consideration.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING OPERATIONS OF A FLUID DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
A first valve of a manifold for a fluid distribution system may regulate a fluid flow to a first fluid handling device (“FHD”). A second valve of the manifold may communicate with a second FHD, a reservoir, or a recirculation line. A target flow condition for the manifold may be determined by a manifold control system (“MCS”) based on a device setting received for the first FHD. The MCS may determine a fluid distribution system operation for obtaining the target flow condition based on the target flow condition, a flowrate of the fluid flow, and an operational state of a supply device. The operation may include the MCS controlling at least one of the supply device, the first valve, and the second valve to change the flowrate. The MCS may continuously operate at least one manifold valve to maintain the target flow condition once exhibited by the manifold.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR REMOTELY MONITORING AND CONTROLING POOL/SPA EQUIPMENT
A method of adjusting pool or spa equipment parameters in a multi-vendor pool or spa equipment system is provided. The method includes providing a pool or spa equipment system including a plurality of different pool or spa equipment provided by a plurality of different pool or spa equipment suppliers with each of the plurality of different pool or spa equipment having its own adjustable parameters. The method includes connecting the plurality of different pool or spa equipment to a software application via a local network and receiving and displaying current parameter data of the connected plurality of different pool or spa equipment on the software application. The method further includes adjusting, via the software application, the parameters of any one of the connected plurality of different pool or spa equipment.
SECONDARY POOL FILTER DEVICE
A secondary pool filter device; the secondary pool filter device includes a secondary filter configured to fit over and removably attach to a return jet of a swimming pool and provide secondary filtration for swimming pools. The secondary filter includes a filter pad and a filter sleeve. The filter pad encases a mesh screen and includes a plurality of layers of filtering material. The filter sleeve includes an open end, a closed end, and a cinch tie for removably securing the secondary filter to a return jet. The open end is configured to receive the filter pad for hosting the filter pad within the filter sleeve. The secondary pool filter device helps maintain cleaner water in swimming pools.
INFLATABLE SPA
An inflatable spa is disclosed having improved strength. A water cavity of the inflatable spa may receive massaging air bubbles and/or jetted water.
VARIABLE SPEED PUMPING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A variable speed pumping system including a variable speed pump, a remote user device, and an auxiliary device is provided. The variable speed pump includes a motor, a drive, a housing including a drive cover, and an onboard controller. The onboard controller includes a plurality of buttons formed in the drive cover, a touchscreen interface positioned on the drive cover, a main circuit board including a non-transitory computer readable medium, the main circuit board being electrically coupled to the touchscreen interface, the motor, and the drive, a wireless communication unit electrically coupled to the main circuit board, and a selectively removable IO expansion module. The onboard controller is configured to control one of a flow rate of the pump or a speed of the motor for a period time and actuate the auxiliary device based on input received on one of the onboard controller or the remote user device.
Spa bathtub and operating unit for the spa bathtub
A SPA bathtub and an operating unit therefore are provided. The operating unit includes a water circulation system including a diaphragm self-priming pump, a peristaltic pump, a water circulation pipeline, and a fluid switch assembly. The diaphragm self-priming pump operates before the peristaltic pump operates normally and stops operating after the peristaltic pump operates normally. During operation of the diaphragm self-priming pump, the fluid switch assembly is in a first operation state, so that water from the interior volume portion sequentially flows through the peristaltic pump, the diaphragm self-priming pump, the fluid switch assembly, and the water circulation pipeline and finally returns to the interior volume portion. During operation of the peristaltic pump, the fluid switch assembly is in a second operation state, so that the water sequentially flows through the peristaltic pump, the fluid switch assembly, and the water circulation pipeline and finally returns to the interior volume portion.
POOL DEBRIS COLLECTION CONTAINER
A pool debris collection container removably connected to at least a portion of a pool pump, the pool debris collection container including a main body to store debris therein received from the pool pump, a vacuum connection aperture disposed on at least a portion of the main body to receive at least one of a plug and a vacuum connector thereon, and a plurality of fastener ridges disposed on at least a portion of the main body.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO MONITOR AND CONTROL POOL EQUIPMENT
A multi-node remote pool monitoring system and method is provided. The system includes a master control unit and at least one slave node connected to a piece of pool equipment and serially connected to at least one other slave node in a daisy-chain configuration for transmitting power and data between the nodes. Each node may further be connected to a sensor for monitoring the output of the pool equipment connected to that node. Each relay node has a unique network address by which the master node can address and command or query each slave node to switch a connected relay/load; report the status of the connected load; and report the signal recorded by connected sensors. The data transmitted along the multi-node network and a pool signature may be processed for predicting pool equipment runtime energy demand, one or more operational states of pool equipment and equipment failure.
