A latching assembly for releasably securing a first member to a second member, the latch assembly comprising a housing, at least two jaws pivotally mounted to the housing, the jaws pivotable between an open position and a closed position, the assembly comprising a locking member moveable between a locked position to lock the jaws in the closed position and an unlocked position to allow the jaws to revert to the open position.
Rotating latch lock
A rotating latch lock having a rotatable latch retaining a closing anchor and a rotatable pawl. The lock including a transmission mechanism for moving a movable arm of the pawl towards a latch release position. The movable arm of the pawl has a flange with a distal end supported on a surface of the latch adjacent to the edge thereof, temporarily bending the flange when the latch is in a closed position retained by the pawl. The length of the flange is such that its distal end slides on the mentioned smooth surface of the latch when the movable arm of the pawl is moved to push the pawl to a release position, and is released from the latch, automatically recovering its stable form, being supported against the edge of the latch and preventing the return of the movable arm and therefore of the pawl to a closed position.
LATCH LOCK ASSEMBLY WITH FAULT MONITORING, AND CLOSURE STRUCTURE HAVING SUCH A LATCH LOCK ASSEMBLY
A latch lock assembly to facilitate movement of a closure structure between a stowed position and an open position. The latch lock assembly includes fault detection and electro-mechanical monitoring of components of the latch lock assembly. In the event of a detected fault operating condition by the latch lock assembly, a manual override mechanism may be employed to enable a user to advance the closure structure from the stowed position to the open position.
Double-leaf vehicle door device with pre-locking function for the leading door leaf
The invention relates to a double-leaf vehicle door device comprising at least the following: two door leaves, each of which can be moved between an open position and a closed position in the form of a respective end position and into any intermediate position between the first open position and the first closed position, wherein a first movement of the first door leaf between the first open position and the first closed position is carried out without mechanically coupling the first door leaf to the second door leaf in contrast to a second movement of the second door leaf between the second open position and the second closed position, and a common locking device is provided which locks the first door leaf in the closed position when the first door leaf is located in the closed position and which locks the second door leaf in the closed position when the second door leaf is in the closed position. A pre-locking function is provided such that of the first door and the second door leaf, the door leaf which first reaches the closed position is held in the closed position at least until the other door leaf has also reached the closed position, and the locking device is additionally designed to only then lock or become capable of locking the first door leaf and the second door leaf.
